Something fishy is going on here. I think its called progress. Plus the matching cardiologist and high blood pressure thing for both of us. Hmmm.Yesterday I had an annual nurse visit which my insurance provides. My blood pressure was very high. The nurse called my cardiologist. I got the call back while I was driving. Returning the call to them is complicated. Wait on hold. Press three for your branch. Leave a message. They called back this morning and I missed it again by seconds. The process starts all over again.
It shouldn't be this hard.
My blood pressure is very high, even with doubling the dose of the meds. So the nurse called for me to make an immediate appointment with my cardiologist. I got so frustrated that I nearly threw my phone out the window. So many machine things answer the phone now and they send me around the mulberry bush.
I ended up talking to the hospital's scheduling department, which had no appts showing for my doctor. So I called the doctor's office directly and got an appointment. Over all, these calls took 2 days to complete. The good news is that I always get a pretty quick appointment. I think that means he's worried if he waits too long, I'll die.
