How is your day Today? Chat about your plans and achievements 2026....

Good morning to everyone. It is 71 degrees now but the wind is blowing. There is a red flag alert for the area, so we have to be prepared incase of a fire starting. Our weather is getting more scary than the hurricane season at the moment.

I have been doing chores this morning and now I might get to relax before fixing lunch.

I hope all of you are doing well and enjoy your day.
You Floridians and your warm air.........I'm freezing. :)

A nice day here today. We started of by meeting up with the Grandkids and their Mum & Dad at a farm that has animals to interact with. Likkle Grandson held "Ketchup" his favourite snake, and Likkle Grandaughter had a stroke of it. Next was guinee pig and goat feeding, followed by bottle feeding the Spring lambs. We finished with a play in the Hay Barn with bales to climb on and an indoor zip wire.

On the way home back down the see front I noticed the tide was quite high and the Sun was out, so I dropped Mrs Oy off at home and went back with the big camera and lens for a spot of Sea budgie bothering. Got some nice shots!

After a rowdy Saturday, then just 5 hours sleep, attended 7am mass this Sunday morning 2/22/2026. Quiet recovery day, will be watching the Winter Olympics closing ceremonies later today. Just began mic'ing a can of Progresso Tomato Basil soup for an early lunch. Expect to attend a GD jam band tomorrow Monday evening. Then after 2 days of a warm storm midweek, expect to drive to Nevada and ski 2 or 3 days.

an update from my morning post
After coming back from brunch, took a 15 min nap. I decided to take an afternoon walk for about 10 min, the dusting of snow we got this morning had melted. I walked up the street past a couple of houses, turned around and came back, sidewalks were wet with no snow/ice. The temp was 34 with a slight breeze, great to be out getting exercise with fresh air
