Watched All Creatures Great and Small last night, It was the Christmas show and the last one of the series. They had a delightful Christmas play in the family. There were not enough participants so they had a dog dressed as Joseph. It was fabulous and displayed love in a most original way.

I took a big bag of donations into the British heart foundation Charity shop today..

I have several bags and large items to donate but like most charity shops this one doesn't have a car park, so I had to carry the big black bag from the nearest car park 1/2 a mile away...so I only took the one bag...it was very heavy as well

It's a pity they're situated where they are because they'd get much more donations if people could park close to them

The only 2 that have car parking anywhere near me are Isabel Hospice, and Cancer Research... both are a 30 mile round trip.. but I take most of my donations there, beause it's so much easier to donate... by having the ability to park right outside...

I am determined to stop worrying so much over everything. You know who's helping? AI.
There is so much financial stuff going on right now transferring accounts etc. It is nerve wracking sometimes because of scams etc.
I have found that if I ask AI questions about this or that they walk me through and give advice. No, I'm not giving specific information or anything just questions like, "Does Microsoft have good security or should I add more?" Sounds like it's pretty safe as long as you follow security protocols.

Dental appointment at 9:00 this morning for a routine cleaning.....not sure what I'll do the rest of the day just piddle around I guess.

Today is gym day, followed by a trip to Wal-Mart to stock up. I did well on stocking up right before the snow storm. That was almost 5 weeks ago, and I haven't run out of food yet! My cubbards may be bare, but they aren't completely empty

Good morning to everyone. It is 32 degrees this morning and another below freezing for tonight and then fingers crossed warmer for the next 10 days with some in the 80's.

I hope this bad weather eases up for those in the Northeast. It looks pretty in some pictures but it is dangerous to drive and if one loses power.

We're starting the day off with a toasty-for-us 28 F (–2 C) temperature. It's a nice change from the recent brutal cold.

My older daughter sent a video last night of her two 15-month-olds zooming around, walking. Last time I was there they were still crawling! And the baby is now 5 months old. I'm wildly impatient for warmer weather so I can drive up there. I'm tempted to rent a car, but it's just so darn expensive. I should be able to go visit soon, I hope, driving my old car.

I have a very straightforward day ahead: Work. Very exciting! But sometimes boring is good.

G'afternoon peeps of SF

It's been an absolute gloriously sunny day today...finally...

I've been doing some stuff in the barn ..... and I have all the windows.. and the back door wide open...to let the house air. It feels almost hot in my SW facing garden which is a suntrap..

I've even got one single layer on today...rather than 3.... doubtless it'll get cold when it gets dark, but for now it's lovely..

Can you believe we only had 4 days left until March... how quickly has that gone since Christmas... ?

I got rid of the stink bugs using Glade’s timed atomizers of peppermint , but it doesn’t begin to phase the fake ladybugs.

I finished building some rear surround speaker stands yesterday and put the first coat of paint on them a little while ago. I just made them out of pine, so they weren't worth staining. I'll put another coat of paint on them tomorrow.

Now the dog needs a walk. It's 71° outside... shorts weather! Not bad for February!

And, when we get back, I'm going to take a nap.

I haven't been outside today because it was too cold. When I woke up at 6:30 temp was 12, looked at the flag could tell it was breezy, decided to stay in. Its been a sunny day temps in the low 20's,my exercise today was walking the hallway a couple of times
After lunch I finished yesterday's NYT crossword puzzle,read today's paper. The dinner menu didn't; look enticing so I'll have a Healthy Choice frozen dinner instead. After dinner will tackle today's NYT crossword puzzle
