It's just after 8am. its already beautifully sunny.... they say we're to get 26 deg C temps ( 78f ) today..... 🌞🌞

I'm going out this morning to get my nails done and pick up some things for DD's Birthday at the weekend.... and hopefully get some Petrol


Great news about the ceasefire between the US & iran.... they say the price of oil has dropped overnight , let's hope it stays that way...

Happy Hump Day !!! Morning folks, had a not so good sleep nite, but hey
no guarantees in this life!!! Coolish at 52F degrees, high to be 70 or so...
No rain today they say...I have a bit of laundry to do,but only other thong
is start on paying the bills from the last visit to e r awhile back.....hands
are very shaky today, and noise in my head very bad, yesterday also...oh
well, I'm pretty well in all other ways :p
 
I'm going to get a haircut today. Last time I asked for a layered bob forgetting that the layers aren't long enough to get in a ponytail. Summer's coming!
So, I'll have her barely trim the layers and trim the length to the top of my shoulders. Probably something I could do myself but I want to help boost the local economy. I'm just doing my part. 🤓
 
It's looking pretty good here after a spell of cold winds. I'm taking it easy after a physio session yesterday which has left me exhausted.
I hope I'm OK for tomorrow as it's off to another play in the Lemon tree theatre in Aberdeen.

I see the oil seed rape is blooming here too, though not as much as in previous years. I've also seen the odd field of flax.
Over the 20 years that I've lived here, I've noticed the farming has changed from mainly livestock to arable. I expect this is largely due to the price of grain.

The postie has just delivered two identical letters informing me of my occupational pension increase for this year. Much as any increase is welcome, this won't even cover my Physio sessions !
 
Once again I awoke at 3am for no reason......this is becoming a bad habit.

Yesterday I actually left the house to take care of some issues. Went to DMV and got the handicapped parking permit my doctor has been bugging me about and the for the first time in three months I visited my barber for a much needed haircut.

This was my first time out and about since I was in the hospital so I treated myself to a Dairy Queen soft ice cream cone (for medical reasons ya know). Weather was beautiful and my old Dodge pickup ran great after sitting in the rain for a month.
 
Good morning. I arrived home Sunday afternoon. Yesterday I met my nurse who will care for me three times a week. Also yesterday my family came over to help with laundry and shopping. Also got out for a bit to neighborhood park.

I will be getting an at home aide. Also a physical therapist and occupational therapist.

My cats are very attentive and loving. My son takes care of their physical needs.

I am exhausted from nearly six months away. I have to learn to take care of myself again. I got up at five. Make my coffee. My coffee is very good. Took blood sugar and morning meds. Watched a soap opera Beyond the gates.

Listening to the news. Will dress soon and eat breakfast. I must remember to eat well. My Dil yesterday made me a bunch of hard boiled eggs. I have cold cereal and lots of breads.

Good morning everyone. It rained yesterday and some more rain today. It will only be 68 degrees today, so much cooler.

I had a nice telephone call from my sister yesterday afternoon. We always laugh and have fun on these calls.

Yes indeed! @Pepper, I am so happy you are home at last! Reading that brightened my morning. 💕

Yesterday was a bit of a bust for me. I made it to coffee with my friends for literally about one minute; I was on the verge of tears because I had spent too much time the previous night reading those sites on parent–child estrangement, so I bailed out almost immediately. I know I should have stayed. Lurking at home, being sad, is not good. But I tough it out most of the time.

But tonight my younger daughter and I are seeing Undertone in the theater. I can't wait to see her! The only movie showing is at 7:45 pm; I hope I can stay awake that long. 😆 My days usually begin before 6:00 am.

It's sunny out today, although we have a wind advisory. Could spring finally be making its way here?

Achievement

Finished a minor project for my wife. She went a little crazy buying costume jewelry ear rings & necklaces on TEMU. She was happy until the amount became mixed, entangled & basically a mess where she stored all of them.

Entered fixit husband with a solution. Buy Styrofoam 4x8 x 1/2 inch board, Velcro, plastic jewelry bags & hooks. Measure wall where project would be easily accessible but unseen. Bag that costume jewelry, hang on those hooks Velcro those hooks & bags to the board. Velcro the board to the wall so there are no holes in the wall.

End result everything is visible, not tangled & a happy wife.

yeah.. pleased you've managed to get out and about for the first time since leaving the hospital.. you've been through sooo much this past year...or more I bet it felt very surreal.. but I'm sure you look like a handsome man once more now you've got your hair cut... 🤗 .. Hey everyone...good news abound on the thread today.... happy for Llynn and @Pepper that your both on the mend

It's now racing towards 5.30pm... What a day it's been..
The doorbell rang at 8am this morning because the council wanted to chop down one of the trees that line this road.. and could I move my car. I wasn't even dressed, so I told him he'd have to wait until i got dressed and ready to go out which would be half hour, so he was happy with that, he just waited..

Glorious , glorious sunshine today... 26 deg C....78 f. 🌞 🌞 🌞 I went and had my nails done..

I was there 9am as they opened.. , and it was market day, but there was hardly anyone there and very few stalls..... such a beautiful few days we've had for Easter break, many people have gone away for the holidays..

After I;d come home from there around 1pm... ... I put everything away... and I went back out to the woods and lake behind my house. One for the exercise.. and 2 because it was soooo hot, and I wanted to get some more photos of the bluebells before they die back....

So these were taken about an hour ago...... but by the time I'd finally got back after an hour and a half of walking, in the woods, I was just drenched I was sooo hot... I just fell on an ice cold drink as I walked through the door 🥵 ... lol
