...Glorious hot sunny day... it's past 11am now.. in 20 minutes I have the zoom meeting with my legal rep... on tenterhooks...😟

Also on hold on the phone to my doctors surgery... number 15 in the queue still started off at 27.... still on hold after 25 minutes.. I doubt they're going to answer before I nee to hag up for my zoom meeting.. *sigh*

I hope that I won't have to do any admin..after my meeting .. because I really need to go and get groceries.. fresh fruit etc, my fridge is almost bare... plus I have a prescription waiting to be collected at the pharmacy
 
Been up since 2:15 am. Again. When this happens, when I wake up at these hours, my mind wants to stay awake. My mind is telling me I'll be dead soon and that I must enjoy every moment. I'm exhausted. I think it's becoming a real problem. Won't speak to therapist until next week. I'm not afraid to go back to sleep, but can't relax to even try. Oh woe, I'm dragging myself around and it's only the beginning of the day.
 
Morning all....woke at 4am for reason of hearing rabbit squealing, hope it wasn't the baby rabbit I saw in yard sunday...
Dunno what I'm up to this day, laundry and dishes of course,
pain issue of course, got to call the meals people up too...it is
starting out another very hot day, but then it is June....take
care of yourselves and each other !!!! ;):D:coffee:🙃
 
Yesterday afternoon, was talking with 2 residents,I mentioned I went on my Sat walk around the complex , I met Lucy who is the oldest resident here, 105. She was sitting on a bench with her aide, she told me she has lived here for 3 yrs. These 2 residents told me, 'You know you are the youngest resident living here'. I thought to myself'Wow I'm a youngster age 71' LOL!
My plan this morning take the bus to Walgreens need a couple of items. The bus stop is right across street from the entrance to Gates. I just have to remind myself coming back not to get off at the corner of the street where I use to live
 
The many waves of locally-produced clean rains overnight has one advantage: the car I left out after a quick wash two days ago is almost cleaner than after I'd spayed and rinsed soap at the car wash. A couple of paper towels, some 90% isopropyl, and some scrubbing got rid of the greasy baked on insect guts and bee poop after the rain as well.

More rinses coming later on but sadly it won't be as clean, coming in from across upper Illinois and lower Wisconsin and points west.

I just get do frustrated with this practice - it's wait 2 hours to see the doctor for 2 minutes. Added to the fact I have to inconvenience someone to bring me and wait, then take me home and it's a 60 mile round trip.
 
You know it's summer (okay not officially until Thursday) when I turn the A/C on and leave it on and when I wear capris instead of Levi's. Wait. The capris are Levi's. Levi capris. Short pants.

It's only 9:30. What'll I do now?

Everything is done, patio cleaned, dishes washed, flowers watered. In a little while DD and I are going to the credit union and then do a little Walmarting. Credit union is fine. Walmarting is a giant pain in the como se llama. Ugh.

@Sliverfox If I'd known you were going to do "little chores," I'd have waited and let you do mine, too :ROFLMAO:

I meant to ask, did you ever use the trimmer tool? How did you like it?
 
@ GG,, by little chores,, I meant put away all hubby's winter jackets.
They get stacked on the dog crate & some other things that haven't got done, because I didn't feel like doing them.

I don't seem to have the get up & go that used too??
Wondering if the new med is the problem?
Will see nurse practitioner Tuesday morning.

Blood sugar Levels have been high.
