@Georgiagranny, they just lost their best worker. When they wake up and don’t smell the cookies and croissants, they’ll realize the error of their ways. Leaving with no notice wasn’t your choice, it had to be done. (((Hugs))).

I’d suggest you to go for a walk, except it’s too darn hot!
Oh my gosh, yes! Way too darn hot!!!!! 🔥

I had the nuclear stress test this morning. They seemed concerned and added a couple of other tests on at the end. They also moved my cardiologist appointment up by a couple of months to next week. I think I prefer this to the last doctor who showed no concern at all.

Um. The store's computer just sent me next week's schedule. I'm on it from 4-9 Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday. :ROFLMAO:

They hear me when I speak, but they don't listen to what I say. When it's written, they pay no attention to that, either.

Buh-bye, Felicia...👋:ROFLMAO:
They’ll be in for a surprise when they start searching for the baked goods on Sunday morning. “Where’s that blue haired lady that does stuff. Guess she really did do more than her share.”

I'm thinking Sir is scrambling to cover his arse, and tomorrow I'll be a no-show/no-call.

One more thing: I blocked his phone # on my cell so he can't call or text.
Congratulations GG, you did the right thing. About time, too. There may be some anxiousness over the change in your daily life now, but that's just normal and it goes away.

Maybe "sir" will quit too! Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Hubby & I picked 7 quarts of blueberries this morning.
We've had lunch & I think we both went to sleep after it.

Following Granny G"s exit from the bakery.

Didn't Kroger have meeting & was going to give employees a raise?
Also thought they were closing stores that weren't doing well?
Seven quarts of blueberries is more than enough for a pie. What time?🥧

Kroger has a union, and there's another year to go on this district's contract. There's supposed to be a raise July 1 according to the contract. That would appear on this week's check, payable on Thursday next week.

They're closing stores, but the one I worked* at isn't one of them.

*Note use of past tense:ROFLMAO:

Yes there's no doubt in my mind also that he'll be in a state when you're not there.... good .. you keep saying he was nice.. but he wasn't nice to you when you were begging for help...

...and I'm Proud of you Blocking his number,,..... this is appalling regardless of how nice you think he is, that he has no Supervisory skills, and he's made that job a misery for you and others because of that.

It's torrential rain. During the lull from it earlier I hung the washing out on the retractable line, but after an hour I decided to take it in, the rain was imminent.

Racked my brains what to do to dry it all.. and set up a rudimentary system in the barn to hang clothes on...turned the dehumidifier on , and the heater...just in time because the Rain is coming down in Stair rods and has been for the last few hours.

Three-and-a-half hours working outside in the sun. The corn rows needed weeding. Now I feel like being in the shade for a while. Temp climbed to 86*F (30*C), and is forecast to get warmer. Only four days or so ago, we had cloudy skies, thunder, and torrential rains. But now, a few days of sun and you can look around here and see plantings that soon will desperately need water.

It feels so good just now to be in the house where it's cool.😌

Lucky you @hollydolly. Just in time!

We've been promised rain of biblical proportions this afternoon. I checked the radar, and it already looks like it's breaking up and moving south and east of us. We might get a few sprinkles but nothing major.
I don't think it was luck, I was on edge watching for the rain all the time while they were on the line.... and the barn system isn't ideal.. but at lest they are in the dry

Trying to envision coming down in stair rods. Would that be anything like cats and dogs?

This morning at 6:40, on my early walk I went around the complex, temp was 75 with a slight breeze
I had my annual wellness dr's appt at 9:30, the van took me& picked me up when I was done
Yesterday, Marcia&Dave's younger son, Alexei emailed me to say the family had a gift for me,could he stop by today at 2,said'sure'
He had not seen my apt but was impressed how roomy/bright it is. The gift was a framed picture of my 'buddy boy', Tage lying on their living room sofa with a smile on his face, Alexei took it yesterday,OMG, I love it,now hanging in my living room. Every time I look at it I smile ,makes me not miss him so much, I profusely thanked Alexei, just called Marcia to thank her as well. A perfect way to end the week
