If he doesn't want to co-operate to his own lawyers that's one thing, but they should be pro enough to reply to my lawyers calls, or emails and say they're having a problem getting responses from him..if that's the case.. . I mean , they are actively avoiding her. Last Wednesday she phoned them due to their refusal to answer emails.. they made excuses why they couldn't talk to her , said they would return her call on friday... they didn't... so this is whole month now with no response from his lawyers..

He and his lawyers are in this together. This is the strategy they have decided upon, together, to drag this out to drive you nuts and make you capitulate. No offense, not impressed with your no-guts lawyer, holly.

Does not last through the whole day though. Making 4 more batches of keto replacement shakes which I use for ice cream. It is something I look forward to on these hot days. I have a grocery delivery from Walmart coming sometime between 11-1. My bunny boy needed more food. Coffee now while I make the shakes.

I did the diet opposite of you. I made eight batches of sourdough mix, two bread machine whole wheat bread mixes, and four cornbread mixes. We have coffee in common though! 😁 ☕

As annoying as the situation is, if the ex and his solicitors have decided to string things along in the hope that @hollydolly will tire of the whole process and be a good girl and go away, then there is little that her solicitor can do about it, except advise their client to go to court and hope a sympathetic judge will put a stop to any time wasting tactics.

There is also the possibility that the ex is reluctant to instruct his own legal team or commit to future legal proceedings and costs which, of course, his solicitors could not disclose to the other side.

I edged my walkway this morning with a straight shovel because it was so overgrown. As soon as I started DH, as usual, had to come out and see what I'm doing and how it's going to be chopped up, blah, blah, blah.
I thought about your husband and said, "progress, not perfection" and went about my business.
It looks just fine and I refuse to feel insecure about it. So thanks! 🤗

I just never knew this could happen.. so it looks like we're definitely having to go to court now, and drag him before a judge.. but it's going to take 2 years..:(

Maybe he doesn't want that and will light a fire under his own lawyers.
 
A late good morning to ya!!! Up since 6am but lazy about posting, not really much going on with me, usual pain probs,
now some new stuff in legs/feet but what the heck....had
the ""dropsy's" yesterday, seemed like every thing i picked u
I would drop at least once, no big deal except the egg i dropped, needless to say it didn't survive, and bending to clean
the mess was not easy...LOL...ah well...got a few things to arrange today, calling a guy to do some additional yard work,
got to get someone to haul off a bunch of junk also....so we will see you later on....!!!!;):coffee::giggle:

Trust us! You're not alone by a long shot.

There's the time a couple of weeks ago when I was stepping backward in the garden and forgot about the brick edging. Geez. It was just one step! Broke my glasses and got a knot on my head. And then? Three sections of edging got pushed out so I had to fix them.

There have been occasions where I've done a face plant in the garden and, yanno, come up literally smelling like a rose🌹.

..but he's not fighting , if he's not instructing his lawyers to reply to mine. My lawyer got to the stage where she emailed then called..just to ask if his lawyers were still representing him.. and they refused to reply to that...

previous to this a couple of months ago they said in an email to me, if I applied for a Financial order ( take him to court )..they would not be representing him... so my lawyer thought perhaps the reason they weren't communicating lawyer to lawyer was that they had already stopped representing him.. but the only reply she got was a very short email saying they would be speaking to him and would return her call on Friday..which they never did.. It would be definitely in their interests to prevent it going to court... but they're just not responding to anything...


You know I just think this is crazy..I have to physically stop myself from picking up the phone and calling him and saying what are you playing at... why are you paying for a lawyer whose not doing you any favours..

Ugh! very messy job trying to clean up a broken egg on the floor at the best of times, much less when your balance is affected.. I hope you manage to get it all , and not going to slip on the floor
 
Happy today because neighbor lady ran over this morning when we returned from our morning walk to thank me for solving her hivac problem. Were in the middle of a heat wave & her unit wasn't delivering air the way it should. Now it is.
1st. & simplest check was the air filter. Sure enough it was filthy. Her filter is the same as ours so I changed it for her. She plans on replacing what I put in for her but will need to wait until she gets a little more money. Those merv 13 filters are a little pricy.

Do you have a dough scraper or facsimile? @hawkdon You can scoop it right up with that. Any sturdy straight piece of plastic will work too.

when you've had over 20 years of criticism at everything you do...it's hard to get it out of your head.
 
It's true I'm not really enjoying summer weather these past 2 weeks or so but love seeing everything so green. Autumn is beautiful here too, but means winter is on the way. After the first few snowfalls, I'm done with it.

I got up at 6:30 and asked "why", so I went back to sleep until almost 10! :oops: I only wanted another hour or two.

Emptied the dishwasher, made coffee with cardamom pods and now wondering what chores I will and will not do. Fortunately there are not many.

My basil and begonia cuttings are taking root in small vases of water.

Cloudy post rain, 72F to 85F and of course, humid.

The extreme heat (high 90s) has broken. It’s still hot (high 80s). I’m going to do my morning walk later this morning, after I finish my coffee. Last night we walked at 9. It was still around 90. Actually very comfortable because the sun wasn’t beating down on us. It’s time to start wearing reflective lights at dusk, if the walk is along a path where we have to use crosswalks.
