@StarSong, if you are happy with bathroom there is no reason to remodel. I will say I had two baths redone after my husband passed, At that time I did not know if I would stay in the home. Wanted to be ready to sell if needed.


That said, I picked out all the fixtures, tile etc. to my taste in case I decided to stay. The baths had not been up dated since the home was built so it was time.

If you plan on staying and you like the bath I would say have the problem fixed and continue to enjoy your home. If and when the time comes to sell the new owner can decorate to their taste.

Thanks, Blessed. There are many times when I think to myself, if the next owners don't like that, they can change it to suit themselves.
 
Hello, all here.:)
I worked on paperwork and taxes, today.
And worked on some ongoing issues, with my own health and DH's.
We managed to get some nutritious snacks.
And I cleaned and tended, kitty's ears and claws and paws.
And I spot-cleaned a few most necessary spots in the apartment.
whew.....
I am finally here, interacting on a few threads.
It feels good for me to stop by SF, today!
 
It is kind or funny how happy, pleased we are when we manage to get a task done. In the old days, we could do it all and keep going. Now, I have trouble with the simple stuff. I am thrilled to have cooked a true meal, swept and mopped floors, cleaned the baths.

In case no one said it, Thank you for your hard work and love!! Things would not run so smoothly without you!!
 
~Continued deleting stuff from my Mac. The Time Machine backup malfunctioned for some crazy reason, so I had to move files to my external drive manually. Not too much to do because I’d already moved most of the files and folders a few months ago when I thought I’d be reinstalling the old OS.

~Before deleting the Notes app, I copied and pasted into Google Docs the notes I want to keep. Some have articles and jokes I plan to post on the forum.

~Was dancing to my new dance-exercise tune while loading the dishwasher. It is cookin'!
 
Another day slowed down by the weather. Just a reminder to myself that it's not a race, and it's OK to be good to myself during these times of uncertainty.

Did a lot of reflection and energy exercises for relaxation. I tried the kid's calm gummy last night and took another today. Since I need the magnesium anyway, they're good.

Did a couple small things around the house that I've been meaning to do.

A decent day.
 
It's morning again, and I'm off to the 🥐 mine. DD has an errand after she drops me off, then is going to come back to fetch me to take me to immediate care because...another blankety-blank UTI. Grrrr. Geez, if only there were some kind of warning so that it could be staved off before it even starts. I'm not a happy camper.

But on the good side, it means by the time I'm through at IC, it'll be too late to go back to work so I'll have the rest of today off, and tomorrow is a day off. Teehee. Guess Sir and NL will have to just struggle along without me. More teehee. Maybe it's the universe's way of paying them back for leaving me hanging out to dry last Saturday?

Today is the day the eagle 🦅 sh!ts:poop::poop:.

I hate when the power goes out. Nine hours is a long time without it.
 
Oh, darn. Went to immediate care before going to work. Doc wrote a scrip and told me to take off my apron and hairnet because she advised against going to work. Dear me. Advised against? You got it! Did as I was told, called Sir and said, "Sorry, doc told me to take off apron and hairnet and go home so that's what I've done." Who am I to question doctor's orders? I don't feel sick, but yanno, just not wise to argue with the doc;)

After we left IC, DD and I went to Wallyworld to get only the stuff on my (long) list. We did. There's precious little 💰left in my account💸. Good thing tomorrow is payday at work.

One of the things on my (long) list was birdseed. The birds have been fed. It's not that they eat me out of house and home, it's those blankety-blank squirrels. Wudju believe they actually had big sacks of food for squirrels? Like any sane person would encourage the silly things...

Tomorrow's a day off (darn). That leaves plenty of time to get to @hawkdon's for biscuits and sausage gravy tomorrow.
 
Up & doing today!

Walked the dog twice , so far.

Hubby & I had some business at the bank.
I asked about old. coins from the gentleman that waited on us.
That took a bit of time.
Told hubby we need fruit,,, as we were driving by the Goodwill store,, said to him let's stop.

Saw an old neighbor & spend some time chatting with him.
All the time we were chatting,, hubby is giving me the look"come on ,I"ve got things to do."
I did find a pair of jeans for $5! They will need shortened.

At grocery store saw hubby's cousin,,more talking.
Rushed around trying get things I thought we needed.

Now what to fix for lunch,,, should have checked if there was any prepared food in the deli.
 
just the other day I said on here that I'm constantly being mistaken for someone younger.. today it happened again on the phone.

I asked a question and the advisor who sounded middle aged said ''oh we deal with people of all ages, just yesterday we had a caller age 64''.. when I said I was older.. he said '' oh you don't sound it''..

I often wonder what 68 year olds are supposed to sound like.. even Joan Collins at 90 doesn't sound old...
 
Been to the optometrist this AM, only needed an exam (everything good; he said, "You're my easiest patient so far =D) Didn't need a new Rx/ glasses... yay

Home to fix lunch and the arborist knocked on the door and we walked out to talk about the pecan tree in the backyard, a very large branch of which is hanging over my neighbors yard, where he often parks his truck or lawn care equipment. Long story short, whatever I saved at the optometrist is going to the tree-trimmer, lol. BUT, I'd rather pay ahead then have to have someone come in to clean up after a storm and the falling branches had damaged other trees or neighbors' property.

LOL. I could almost write the script. They want it "open and airy" with white cabinets, big granite island, double sink in the "ensuite", update the fireplace, knock down that wall, etc.'etc. Why do I keep watching?
 
I am about to break my arm patting myself on the back !~!!~~~
I asked for advice on a pc forum, and after using a link to a page, and doing a few clicks here and there I sucessfully transferred all my bookmarks/favorties from this desktop pc
to my Laptop pc.....yay yay yay!!! :p:giggle::devilish: and I am not
a teckie, just a user !!!!!
