I went to the roller rink today, but I didn't do any skating. The private party didn't buy much, so things were slow at the snack bar. Of course, all of that changed when we opened to the public. I was really hopping then!!! Busy, busy, busy!!

I did trim more bushes yesterday, they need it soooo badly and the weather was perfect! I did take several rest breaks and had lots of water. I was tired, but I didn't seem any sicker this morning. Maybe I'm finally starting to get over this "bug"! 🐞

We bought new twin beds and mattresses last fall. (Hubs was having sleep problems and punching me while he slept ... at least that's his story hah.) The memory foam remembers a little too well and I have a sunken middle already. Pretty comfy though.

Today's my big day of the month, book club followed by lunch out.
I hope you had a nice time.

My trip to Walmart on the bus yesterday was pretty successful. It is easier than having someone drive me in their vehicle. Just walk onto the ramp and it raises you into the bus. No need to fold it up and lift it into a backseat or trunk of a vehicle. On the return trip I have my bags of groceries on the seat of the walker where I put it when I checked out of the store. Then just walk it onto the ramp and it lowers you to the ground. We left here at 10:30 AM and was back home by 12:30 PM.

.....your trip was a success!! Now on to more, new adventures!

Hollydolly, please send some good weather to us. We had a fairly normal winter with snow, but the bad weather has just kept on going.
The most noticeable thing has been the wind. This has been the windiest winter I have known here.
My friend lives in Falkirk, she has been telling me about the awful weather! For now, this is the best I can send to you.....

Enjoy!!!

Last night I went to the ER. One of the guys offered to drive. I have PAD (peripheral artery disease) and recently it has caused tiny nicks in my shin to become festering wounds. It has been 20 years since I last visited an ER and I had forgotten how slow they move. After 8 hours of waiting first for triage, then for bloodwork and finally to see an actual doctor I finally got home at 5 AM. This resulted in being prescribed a much more powerful antibiotic which I picked up today. Not sure if I'm exhausted by the infection or the lack of sleep. Probably both.

oooh rotten having to go to ER these days..A& E as it's called here in the UK.... looooong waiting times.. Pleased you were given something to help, and I hope it works quickly for you..

So many little chores to do, I’m not being efficient. For my morning walk, I headed one direction to do the first and second chore. Got halfway there and remembered it was more important to go the other way to do another task. Did task one, cancelled the second and backtracked to do the third. That seemed to be the way the whole day went. I did earn lots of steps. Should sleep well tonight.

Another day of rain. Yay! I'm not a fan of rain, but if it keeps my neighbor in his house, it's a good thing.

I wished I liked grocery shopping. My mom used to drag us to the grocery store after school. We'd be tired from the day, and have to walk up and down the aisles with her. Since then, I've tried to be in a grocery store as little as possible.

I'm trying to find a way to celebrate tonight for not having to deal with my neighbor today. Bag of chips, maybe?

I want to go out for breakfast. I specifically want to go Cracker Barrel. And I specifically want two eggs scrambled with cheese, biscuits with sausage gravy, hash browns, and throw in some fried apples while we're at it.

The above is not likely to happen. I'm just gonna make myself another cup of coffee and suffer. If it could happen, though, first I'd fetch @hawkdon and take him along.

Oh, no. I hope you get some good rest and feel better.

Thinking about the week and company for Easter. Have to go through the house and dust 😖 and vacuum. One thing that helps is some ear buds and good music or a good podcast. Makes the job go fast.
It's sunny and breezy. Probably came up from @Georgiagranny 's place. By the way, DH loves Cracker Barrel breakfast! He gets the Grandma sampler. It wasn't on the menu for years but they'd make it for him. Now it is on the menu and he takes credit. 😁
Others must have requested it. A little bit of everything, pancakes too.
