He rarely gets ear infections - not even once a year. That this one is so stubborn is both bizarre and concerning. They gave him a very strong version of Z-pack meds earlier this week, but they're not having much effect. This after amoxicillin and then something else.

Hoping the doc has something up his/her sleeve tomorrow.
I hope he feels better soon. Ear infections are so uncomfortable, and throat infections are worse. 😟 My younger daughter used to get very stubborn ear and throat infections quite often. Her usual course of treatment was amoxicillin, Augmentin, then Zithromax (Z-pack).

I really hope something works and he gets some relief soon. Please keep us posted.

Difficult dental appointment, today, but hopefully will be better from that....at some point. There's a lot to recover from. In addition, I had a long appointment with new eye doctor, couple of days ago, and yesterday, I banged my knee (hard) on the bedpost. :(

Who put it there? Partially hidden, under the bed?😢😳😣
Everything hurts, at this point in time.

Hoping to check on your posts, here, little by little.

Thinking of all of you.

@Kaila so sorry you're having such a hard time. Thinking of you; may time take care of your pains. 🌹

This morning I finally got some shredding done using my brand new shredder. I cleared the clutter off the studio desk then started getting ready for my Podiatry appointment.

The doctor was very pleased with the way I'm taking care of my feet and said they look really good. We always discuss a couple of topics, one being politics, so the visits are interesting. He asked about my music first thing and was glad to hear that I'll be releasing an album soon. It's so nice that he supports my musical endeavors.

After I got home I sorted laundry, ate a snack and took nap.#2. I started watching rhe movie The Meg today and I'm almost finished.

morning folks.......I'm here, but maybe not all of me, brain is
slow this morning, had several wakeups last nite for some reason....75deg now into 90's later, may rain, humid at 75percent....cleaning lady comes today, and going to have her
take my return package to local post office....don't have any
great big plans otherwise...just try to stay cool, and keep my
hands painless, haha...,,.,later...;):p:coffee:

Slept in this morning........Got woke up by Mac's doggie kiss.

Hubby has load of wood to deliver,, so quiet time for me.

Have meat that we bought yesterday that needs divided & put into freezer.

Seems we spend most of yesterday fascinated by the TV or sleeping.

We did get to use the new tree trimmer.
I ended up standing in the backhoe bucket getting the top of it cut back.

I believe this is precisely the course of meds he's taken so far. Your post is reassuring, especially the part about your daughter having had stubborn ear & throat infections. Great way to frame it.

He'll be fine, I'm sure. If it weren't for all the news stories about antibiotic-resistant infections, I probably wouldn't have given this too much thought. He's a typical 12 year old - in great shape and quite healthy overall.

Thanks to all for your concerns and caring. Reading your posts and seeing the hug emoticons really did feel like a sweet hug.

I'll post an update here when DD lets me know how the doctor visit goes.

❤️❤️❤️

Well is there ever a day recently when there's been no drama from me ?:rolleyes: rhetorical question really...and today was no exception..*sigh*... might have to split this in 2 ...

There's no parking at my docs so we have to park in a public car park and pay to park, the car park is small and invariably full. Today I managed to find a space after a bit of a wait but I only had 5 minutes to get to the doctors surgery.. a good 5 minute walk away...I paid for 2 hours in case I got held up.. £2.10...the machine told me I had until 12 noon to park.. so I shoved the ticket on the dash in the car quickly , and walked fast to the doctors.. as it turned out I needn't have rushed because I was kept waiting 40 minutes past my appointment..

Anyway when I get back to the car , at 11.30m.. I have a parking ticket for £50...

Why ?.. I'm think what the heck, the ticket is on the dash it's well within time what's gone on here.. and when I looked the ticket in my car..even tho' I'd paid for it it hadn't printed on ticket the time... instead it had printed ''No valid ticket''..and I have no idea why it did that cuz I paid.. but I didn't notice, because I didn't look at the ticket before I put it into the car because I'd seen the time I had to be back on the machine.. :cautious:

I've checked and the money came out of my account for the ticket.. I rang the parking company and apparently I have no come back because it wasn't a valid ticket which was on my dashboard.. and that's hat I got the ticket for.. if it had said unpaid, I could have argued it but the ticket said ''Not valid'' I was furious !!...but it's a lesson learned..I'll always check my tickets in future

Here are part of the grounds of my Doc's surgery ( office ) the only car park they have is for Staff only.. so patients even those with disabilities have to pay to park and walk....
