I just broke up a pack of Juicy Fruit gum and dropped the pieces on their tracks.
I don't care if its an ole YouTube tale. Twenty-five cents for the gum is well worth a try.
What the actual what? A pack of gum is 25 cents? Last I heard it was a nickel. I am sooo behind the times!

A couple of summers ago I tried pouring first ammonia, then bleach down their holes/tracks. It didn't work. Ammonia and bleach in combination produce a gas that will kill a human, but it didn't kill moles. Go figure.

I had a productive day. I….
~Put away the items I bought at Dollar Tree yesterday, then the bulk items my son brought home from Costco this afternoon. I’m glad it was fairly easy to find places for them this time.
~Made egg salad for our avocados, then made chili in my little crock pot.
~Swept, Swiffered and wet Swiffered the kitchen and bathroom floors.
~Did accounting for my son and myself.

~Took care of the mundane stuff I hate…emptying and reloading the dishwasher and making ice. Yes…making ice! We who have ADD really hate doing mundane stuff. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it. :LOL: Seriously though, I did read a psychologist's paper on ADD (he has it himself) that listed dreading mundane tasks as one of the traits we have. Everyone....

DD goes back home in a couple of days and is determined to get as much beach and country in before leaving so we headed for the seaside.

Quite an Autumnal feel today, but strangely enough, it felt a lot better on the beach which we had to ourselves. We bought ice cream, saw gannets diving after small fish and watched yachts sailing by. After a while the weather turned showery, so we headed for home.

Cooking sticky pork ribs with coleslaw for dinner.

Pouring of rain here.. can't stop... my poorly sister has replied on FB... so I'm just about to phone her...
@hollydolly

You will never regret getting in touch with your sister .. our eldest sister used to cause a lot of trouble for my other sister and I, but, we've chosen to put those days behind us. She is 80 now.

I hope you're having a good conversation, Hols 🤗

Ike, I am done with the honey=do's for the week, not gonna
do nuthin imprtant today....had a brief period of rain and ligfhtning awhile ago, but has settled into just grey skies now...
73F right now.....so will catch u all later on....make it a great
day !!!! ;):p:alien::geek:
@hawkdon, I’m 90% over the Covid symptoms but the fatigue still gets to me very quickly so my honey-do list is more of a ‘I-can’t-a-lope’ more than one job at a time 😆

Hoping to get out for some long-needed errands today and maybe visit Ed (at a safe distance) for the first time in 10 days.

I've been out doing what I do daily...murdering weeds. There are only a very few left, but I took a break that just doesn't seem to end.

This house arrest :poop: isn't going well. Actually, I don't have anywhere to go. There's nowhere I want to go. It's just a bummer to know that I can't go anywhere:(

@hearlady $.35 for a pack of gum? Does a pack still at least have five sticks in it? Geez. At that rate, the moles can just pull themselves up to the banquet table and dig in.

Okay, then. Back to the weeds. I'm starting to develop a deep and personal relationship with dirt.

OMG, People!~!

I posted about a nice day I had w/ DGD-in-law and Great Grandson and the yard sale TWICE. I just deleted the last one. So sorry.

I don't think I'm losing it yet, as I am with another group (just 4 of us) on Telegram and got confused where I talked about it. Geeze......o_O:cry:
That’s ok, RR. I was telling my husband something and stopped because I couldn’t remember if I told it to him before or online.

LOL..I don't know about never regretting it...that's another story.......however as I said she's my little sister, and she's unwell, so I bit the bullet.

We've just had a 2 hour conversation by phone.... she has Terminal lung cancer.... but it's under control for now, so she's still able to pretty much get on with her life, altho' she's had to give up work...

@jet I had so far 8 Covid shots and never had an inkling of Covid. Try it, and you'll like it.
I've had every Covid shot and booster and am now dealing with my third case of Covid. Sad to say, the vaccines only help your immune system respond to Covid, they don't prevent you from catching it. My bouts have never needed ER or hospital attention, but each has forced me to spend the better part of a week in bed.

I'm so sorry about your sister's diagnosis. I just lost someone close to me from advanced COPD. Tobacco is the devil.

OMG..I missed this. How do you think you got it *M* ?.. at the hospital ?.. I'm not joking..people often say they feel poorly if they've had to spend significant time at a hospital.

I hope you feel better soon.. because you've got no-one to look after you while your wife is in hospital...

Yes.. she's smoked all her adult life.. .. and I think she still does but I didn't ask her, cuz I know I wouldn't be able to keep a judgement retort to myself if she says she does.
