Kinda wish they still had the Sunoco dial your blend and octane gasoline pumps. The price they had back then wouldn't hurt either. 😮

Morning folks...

Well I did manage to get to bed at decent time last night..midnight, and slept until 6am.. so that was good...

It's just getting light here now at approaching 8am .. but dull and overcast....
Lots of driving yesterday from A-B-C-D-etc... and up and downstairs in the Mall, beause the escalators weren't working... means today my back hurts...so I'm pleased I've got no rigid plans for today. I'll put a heatpad on in a while
 
Looks like a Winter Wonderland out.
Haven't measured how deep the snow is.

Mac jumped into a snow pile yesterday & bounced back out.
It was up to his belly or higher,, he didn't stay in it long enough for me to see.

On our little shopping trip the other day,, our tires got metal in them.
Unknown to several other motorist they also got metal in their tires.

A truck hauling scrap metal was spilling metal scraps as it traveled.

It's another cold morning, but the next few days will be better. I'm happy about that!

I have been trying a new app, and I was able to add text to a picture. ( my current avatar) Right now, it's not easy to use, but I am hoping that it will get better after I play with it more. If not, there are a few other apps that I can try. I'll see how it goes.

I usually go to the Library once a week. There are only 2 more weeks that I can go, before Christmas! I've got a lot of pictures on my Mom's electronic frame....maybe too many! I'm going to start weeding out some that are redundant, and IT'S DONE! Just in time for Christmas!

We choose 10 books every two months. Nearly always fiction or historical fiction. I read them all plus some. Not everyone in the group is as voracious a reader so we choose three as "try to at least read these."

The acknowledged best of the lot from the last go round were:
  • The Goddess of Warsaw by Lisa Barr
  • Lula Dean's Little Library of Banned Books by Kirsten Miller
