I've got a nice MS "ergonomic" keyboard which is comfortable to use with all the fingers. Anymore, if I try to use a standard "flat" keyboard, I have better luck just pecking with the index fingers.
I use all of them, some more than others but I try to be fair and give then all a chance to make errors. Like PVC said, I too sometimes cheat and look. Never gave it much thought but, like Mizzkitt said, I too primarily use my right thumb for the space bar, no idea why, just do.
I type normally using all my fingers, I also took typing in high school and it stuck with me all these years. Sometimes though, if I'm typing in numbers like a credit card number, I'll just use one or two fingers.
Yep, another typist here. I was a stenographer for more than a decade, but while the touch typing stays with you, not so the shorthand. More's the pity.
Same here, without looking at the keys!layful: Also, although the keys are quite different, the 6 years of piano lessons I took and continued piano playing helped with dexterity too!
