How many passwords do you have?

I have 31 passwords.
Many of them are all the same password, for the non important stuff, News Feed, Regular Coffee Shop, Youtube etc.
All my other important ones are different and difficult.
I keep a list of them all in my wallet, the important ones are only partly written down. Enough for me to know what they are if I ever have a brain failure and forget.
I also have the list copied and stuck to my fridge in case I lose my wallet.

Enough that I keep a Log in the Safe with them in it. I'm certain a better encryption picture needs to become standard usage soon.
Looking at Social Security breakage of a huge amount proves that for sure are my thoughts.

More than I can keep track of. For unimportant things I also did a "generic" one, but so many things have required very complex ones. I'm starting to be one of those , back in the good ol' days kind of geezer.

I have no idea how many passwords I have. Many of them I don't even know. Maybe I need a site on the internet just once, but I need a password, so I come up with something knowing/thinking I will never need it again. And I don't need it again. Then they want my email address, so I type a nonsense word followed by "@yahoo.com", and give that to them.

Funny I should see this in here. I just went through all my favorites and changed all my info so I only have two emails. One for monetary sites and one for 'just for fun' sites.

As far as passwords, my just for fun sites, I changed all the passwords to the same thing. The vital ones all have different ones, though.

Today, with the "forgot my password", I don't fret remembering them.
It's actually more secure to change them each time.
Nowadays, they want you to use other means of identity verification.

I have one or two, that I think are good ones. No problems thus far....easy to remember without all the saving of different ones. Might be taking a chance, but unless the site is hacked, which would reveal my password whatever it is., no body is going to guess mine, I guess a serious hacker could use one of those password decoders, but I think they might be going the way of the dinosaur.

I like this idea of creating a pretend address. I’ve created many pretend names.
