How often do you go to the hairdresser?

I did the same except my wife cuts my hair.
My daughter and I cut my husband's hair with a Wahl when he could no longer get to a barber. I think we did a pretty good job. She used the clippers and I used the scissors. We kept him looking in tip top shape.

During Covid, those Wahl clippers were in high demand.

My hairdresser is ill so today’s appointment was cancelled. Next week it’ll be six weeks and my hair is already out of control. It’s impossible to get an appointment with anyone else at this time of year.

Ah, the mullet...."Business in the front, party in the back". Unfortunately, it's not dead around here. I see it regularly at WalMart.

The Spousal Equivalent had what was called a "Jelly Roll" when he was in high school. I love to laugh at his picture.

I don't have a set time to go. My stylist only works on Thursdays and Fridays and I show up when I get desperate. I'll be fine one day and two days later, I can't do a thing with my hair. It flips here and lays flat there and separates here and curls there and I'm ready at that point to shave my head.

My partner has naturally curly hair. Ever since I've known her (30 years married) she has straightened it. As much as I love the curls, she hates them. It's a discussion I've never won. :(
I has always amazed me that people with beautiful curls would want to straighten them. Is her hair frizzy curly or soft curls?

I go rarely, maybe once every couple of years.

I trim it myself. Mine is kind of curly/frizzy. That's cool when you're young but curly/frizzy white haired old ladies can scare people. ;)

I never get too panicked unless there is a shopping cart full of odds and ends and a lot of muttering punctuated by loud words involved.

I go every 7-8 weeks. I end up trimming the bottom on about the 5th week. That way it kind of plumps up my hair and the layers look better.
