How old are your spices?

My husband would LOVE a spam recipe. He’s a huge meat eater and guaranteed loves spam.
He says he’d like a spam recipe if you have time.

There's tons of recipes online to explore. Basically 5 parts pork, 1 part ham, and some spices. This is were the fun comes in. add some heat, jalapenos bites, bacon... the choice is endless. It can be baked in a pan and froze. We use 1 pint wide mouth jars and pressure can, and using a sausage stuffer, make kielbasa, smoke, then vacuum seal and freeze.

Thank you old medic. I’ll let him know. It’s something he hadn’t thought of yet. I can’t think of a meat he doesn’t love. He loves bologna and buys it by the pound not the package. Lol

Here is a good you tube recipe, PeppermintPatty. It calls for a kg of pork - that is 2.2 lbs. on this side of the pond...lol.
