How old do you FEEL?

I know we all have our chronological age but some of us may feel younger and some may feel older and some may just feel our age. I'd say I feel about 35 today.

Depends completely on the day. Sometimes a very elderly 97 other days much younger. Today I busted butt and walked 7 miles. Whooohoooo maybe I'm around 27 today?:D

When my knees and back cooperate I feel about half my age. I have slowed down but can still work a full day outside. If I don't sleep well, which happens often then I poop out pretty quick.

When I'm not doing work chores....or moving, I feel around 30 (in my head anyway). :sentimental: Sometimes when I'm doing yard work I still feel like I'm in my 50s instead of my 60s, so for me that's oookaaay! :eek:ld:

It's terrific I'm losing weight again finally. I got a bit into that downward spiral not caring what I looked like for a bit there. But it was the added weight that was hurting. I'm petite sized, even an extra ten pounds is gonna throw something off. A month ago and steps were difficult. I am so keeping up the daily exercise again...my head will always be 25 though:D

Most of me feels pretty young, maybe in my early 50s. But my knees? Not so much. Went for a 14 mile bike ride today. Did it in just over one hour. Really feeling it tonight.

Went for a 14 mile bike ride today.

Bless ya son, walking I can do endlessly. Bike riding is hard labor around here. Lots of mountain developments.

Depends on the day for me, too. Some days I can't believe I'm not still 25. Other days, I feel like 102, especially if I try to do too much yard work and get all my joints all stirred up.

A couple weeks ago I was pulling weeds and such stuff and managed to get horrible muscle spasms in my upper back and shoulders and neck. Ended up in a neck brace and the dreaded "well, at your age . . ." lecture from the doc.

Mentally 15, but emotionally (as in, hopeful for the continuation of mankind) I feel 100 and physically (way too often) I feel my real age 65. Add them together and divide by three and you get 60. Guess sixty has to be my final answer.

Sorry to hear that Butterfly. Are you feeling better now? Muscle spasms can be dreadful and can last for a couple weeks sometimes. I've had many so I speak from experience. The worst was when I got one in my jaw muscles because it made eating so tough. I think that one lasted about three weeks. Couldn't even slip a teaspoon between my teeth!

Yes, some days are better than others, the thing that is most discouraging for me is that I can not get outside and putter around in my yard, between the aches, pains and the heat.

Oh well....it is what it is, I'll just look for another book to read.

Yeah, those muscle spasms are awful for sure. I've had them in my back and ended up on the floor hardly able to move. I hope you are feeling better.

Oh, I guess around 50 or thereabouts. PRETTY GOOD FOR 92Y/O.

Actually, I feel great !

Way to go, Falcon. You're an inspiration.

I feel very youthful inside, but I'm always working out my body to make it comply with my attitude. Not easy. Pain can make you feel older than your years. :sentimental:

I feel much younger than I am... Then I look in the mirror. I'm fighting the fight though.. Walking 5K at least 3 times a week... taking off some weight. AND next Thursday at 4pm I have an appointment with my Dermatologist.. for a consult... Some "Vitamin B" (botox) and maybe a little spackle (filler). I have also been using Retin-A.

I really feel that exercise can be one of the keys for turning back the clock. Starting last Sunday I made myself accountable for meeting my FitBit goal every day for a week. Now I'm going to keep up the good work...lost 8 pounds so far...understanding that my FitBit goal comes out to walking between seven to eight miles a day.

Good for you Fur!! I hope to be able to do that one day, too.

But then you realize after two operations to correct varicose veins, now I can connect them suckers...and my Mom is in the mirror every morning? Thirty year old butt, forty year old legs, and the rest is shot to heck. Okay the face survived...but I'm jumping on the ice floe now:eek:

Some days are better than others. Depends if I've had a good night's sleep.

Last night wasn't so good, so I feel rather old and decrepit today.
