How old must one become to achieve perfection?

Perfect is not determined by age or if what is right calculates more than what is the left. Perfection is as only you determine it to be. Most people grow up believing what well-meaning ? criticism parents and people tell them without acknowledgment of living perfection found within ourselves.

Often people don't see perfection in themselves because human nature only sees what we are not or do not have. When you look into the mirror do see what is wrong or needs fixing, did you notice that pimple? I am here to say that pimple is part of your perfection so don't squeeze it.

The world or life might not seem perfect only because we determine life of the world imperfect. I've got news for you life is perfect we just see it imperfect by our standards.

Well golly-gee I'm a BIG SHOT according to me, the world is all messed up. Have you considered the world exactly as it is made to do? That's not messed up, that's perfection.

What do you think, are you perfect? Why would you say you are not perfect? Do you not get along as well as you used to, do have high blood pressure or heart condition? Does that make imperfect? No none of these as a matter of fact these ailments are part of your perfection, you just don't see this way.

You're perfect so deal with it.

I disagree we don't see life as perfect because our minds finds flaws in life. If we understood pain, sickness, illness as part of life instead of seeing these things as being different from life, we would understand life with pain, sickness and illness are all a part of life perfection.

I think it would be difficult to explain to a child who is starving or being sexually abused that “things are perfect as they are.” Mr Ed.

Perfection is achieved the moment a baby leaves its mother’s womb. After that, society is presented with a tabula rasa upon which to imprint its negativities.

The time anyone achieves "perfection" is the time one then drops dead, like Murphy's Law. Or, too damn old to do anything with this achievement.

You're free, @Mr. Ed, to call your life perfect. Go ahead. You're kidding yourself, but you're free to do that too.

To quote @Dana "I think it would be difficult to explain to a child who is starving or being sexually abused that “things are perfect as they are.” "

If things are so perfect, why bother with social change or helping the environment? Why bother to do anything at all? What a strain, what an unnecessary exertion to do anything at all. Just don't bogart the joint. That's enough.

Definition of perfect:
conforming absolutely to the description or definition of an ideal type:
excellent or complete beyond practical or theoretical improvement:

You can work at a skill until you achieve perfection, but life in general ...especially as we age? No.

The world is not and never will be perfect. I don't know why we do yearn for that sometimes, but it's been going on a good while considering the Garden of Eden story.

In the words of Willie Nelson....

Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
When you're perfect in every way
I can't wait to look in the mirror
Cause I get better looking each day
To know me is to love me
I must be a hell of a man
Oh Lord it's hard to be humble
But I'm doing the best that I can

When I see myself in the big picture, I am perfect.

If I see myself as the big picture, I am not perfect.

From a tender age, we were taught to better ourselves. There will always be room for improvement. So we seek to be better each day. Along the way, we learned to see faults...

The day we realized we are one of the whole (and not the one of the whole) is the day we are perfected.
