How safe is our water supply?

I wasn't aware that the Pur removed fluoride.

No it doesn't remove the fluoride Jambi. It's been years since I reviewed what it filtered out, and fluoride isn't one of the things unfortunately. They are inexpensive, and they do make a noticeable improvement in the taste of the water. Guess for that price you can't have everything.

Pretty cheap for water that tastes like mountain spring water, and yes, it does remove everything but the water.

I used to drink reverse osmosis water at work, and it tasted very different, almost no taste at all. Aren't there certain minerals in the water that are beneficial to us, that are removed with RO?

Most of your minerals come from the food you eat, not the tap water. Very little minerals in the water to start with.

There's a study at NIH that shows that "clinically significant" amounts of Ca, Mg and Na are found in tap water, in addition to the lesser-needed Cu, Zn and As.
