How Senior are Our Seniors Here?

lol...believe me I am not jealous of a woman who was actually very unattractive.... very rarely had a photo taken ithout 5 pounds of makeup.. big nose ugly mouth...

if we're talking about people who are genuinely attractive.. then Doris Day was definitely one right until she died in her 90's... no comparison between the 2

I just happened to see this today. I have to come to Lucy's defense because I love Lucy:) Lucille Ball was a natural beauty as well. She just had a different look than Doris Day. Although she was advised to change her hair color and was put into a lot of makeup for the screen, she had a natural beauty. I think her facial features were fairly symmetrical and she had beautiful blue eyes.

Also, remember, the women of her era were natural beauties to begin with, they didn't show up with breast implants, lip implants, body parts lifted and tucked, nose jobs etc etc., maybe at the most, good dental work. Yes, they had lots of makeup on in photos but I believe their pictures were not altered like today with modern digital tech. So in Lucy's defense, she was a natural beauty who brought a lot of joy to people with her comedy.

Yes, Lucy didn't age well, but she had a lot of heartache being married to a cheating husband for so many years and she was a heavy cigarette smoker. I'm always amazed how people criticize seniors for not looking so good in old age:confused:

Honestly @UpstateGal I am saddened when I hear anyone refer to another human being as ugly. :(
