How the military pollutes our planet and gets away with it

Watched all 6:02 minutes of the video.

Enjoy this Forum too much to respond to this video the way I want to on Veteran's Day.
Always remind myself that the reason so many served, was to ensure we can voice differing opinions,
and the timing was not lost on me.

Like the Police, do we really want to do without them or the Military?

Just asking a question.

Nuff said before the Ban...

Although there are levels of truth in his video presentation, His focus on the military is misplaced. Yes all military organizations pollute now and in the past, especially during wars cause enormous damage to our planet's ecosystems. Yes the military is full of warmongers that have excessive interests in increasing horrible modern weapons. Much more. In my coming of age counterculture revolution era, I was much against the so-called Military Industrial Complex.

But the real villains in charge are wealthy and wealth seekers, financial corporations, Wall Street, their politicians and media etc myopically pushing for endless infrastructure and development growth, population increases with little regard to long term damage to our precious rare blue water planet. Military's are result of having to protect the above. If there were only say 1 billion people on the planet instead of 7 billion, control was not in the hands of wealth seekers but rather ordinary human people, and we lived in sustainable societies established by ecological limits, there would be far less animosity and friction between nations and corporations allowing far smaller military's, far fewer weapons, especially weapons of mass destruction.
