How to go straight to desktop in windows 10?

I just got an upgrade to windows 10 and when I log on I get a picture and the pass-word page which is annoying lol.
Is there away to go straight to desktop and bypass all of that? I tried to google it and I did a few things but nothing is working.
Please step by step directions.

In my version of windows 10 I just experimented with going straight to the desktop.

On the desktop right click and chose "personalize". then in the column click "start". On the "use Start full screen", the default is off...turn it on
( it will turn blue. ) It worked on this laptop. Good Luck.

I did as you said and put my computer to sleep and it did not work,do I need to shut down and restart
for it take effect. Thank you.
