I’d like to find objective source of Canadian news.

I believe we have some Canadians on the board & some folks from our northern borders, and here nearly at the southern border I feel starved for news about how Canada is handling the pandemic, political life, reactions to the US, anything. Formerly from the Northeast US I often visited Ontario, Quebec and theMaritimes, which are my special love. Any suggestions for a newspaper or tv station I could follow? Sort of middle of the road? There was a woman from Ontario on Facebook, but she was so wildly anti Trudeau that I stopped following her & & wondered what most folks think. Thanks!
 

While I’m in Canada I rarely if ever follow the news as I find it too stressful and upsetting so I’m probably not the best person to offer info. I’m getting more news info online than anywhere else.

Anyway CBC has been a popular news station for decades that many seem to trust.

Ontario’s confirmed covid infections are averaging around 100 a day. It has spiked up lately with all the stores and services opening.

We have plenty of testing places including drive through testing.

I think if you want to get an unbiased view you should work at the local level newspapers. I don't do Facebook or Twitter.
 
Why ? ......... Apparently objective news is not permitted here anyway. I just posted an objective report regarding George Floyd, and it has already been removed.

Sort of like 1938 Kristallnacht & Nazi Germany .......... We are indeed being told what we can read/discuss.

Phooey ? Why , because you do not agree ?

It amazes me how simple day to day people can become [overnight] experts....on something, and just dismiss, when evidence from actual experts is presented.

Can't have anything posted that might even hint of truth .... only popular propaganda / agenda will be permitted ?
 
Geez, it just happens I have a fondness & respect for Canada and wanted some factual objective information about what’s happening and how things are there. I’m still naive enough to think such a thing might exist. And it appeared to me there doesn’t seem to be much about Canada in the US sources that I otherwise have some respect for. Did I push somebody’s paranoia button?
