I’ve lost 4 friends in the past 90 days unexpectedly.

Ages 36, 46, 53, 56. All were fit, exercised regularly, good diets. Completely unexpected and devastating. 3 of them happened on Sunday evenings watching tv with their families. Sudden Tightness in their chest, and gone before EMR got to their homes. The last one was last Friday just fiddling around in the garage.
I am numb.

Good grief, that is unbelievable. So sorry and stunned to read this. You must be devastated. I lost 2 friends within this past month, father and daughter. Both had serious illnesses but not Corona related. Condolences to you.

A reminder of what I learned years ago. None of us gets guarantees of a tomorrow.
I have friends who are in their mid 80's. I see them frequently & I never cancel or postpone a visit for lunch or dinner.
I just got home from their house. I brought lunch & we went for a 30-minute walk, as we do every week - Corona or not.

One was a tennis pro at our club. We played every Wednesday. No one was sick. Nothing CV19 related. Just sudden heart attacks. Just completely unexpected which is why we are all just baffled. Seems surreal. People at our tennis club are just in shock. The other 3 were long time work friends.

I wonder about asymptomatic CV19. The ages and time frame don't make sense. Can't imagine what your community is going through. 😥

Many people die young of a heart attack.
Bobby Darin died at 37 after heart surgery.
Richard Pryor was 65
Michael Clarke Duncan was 54
Peter Sellers was 55
Montgomery Clift was 46
Clark Gable was 59
Tyrone Power was 44
Marty Robbins was 56

There are a whole bunch of ways to die young:
John Ritter - Aortic Dissection - 54
