Love the song, it is very simple and danceable. Beautiful dancing, and the essence of passion in this music is palatable.Watch in full screen if you can.
If you are familiar with Myrtle Beach, then you know that places mentioned in the song were real and popular hangouts in the 70's. In their early years, Alabama played at a place called The Bowery for tips!! Listen carefully and you will hear "And the Bama boys at the bowery and They can't dance but they play for free". It still exists today and is still popular. All the bands mentioned played at various locations along the Grand Strand mentioned in the song. When asked if it was difficult to come up with material for the song, they indicated in an interview that they could have written several more verses.Dancin, Shaggin on the Blvd. - Alabama
