I have my Inguinal hernia operation today at 2pm

Thank you all for the well wishes. I am just now starting to feel "functional" again. It felt like I got kicked by a mule in the stomach. The surgery went well. He repaired both sides of the Inguinal hernias, and fixed the umbilical hernia I have had for several years while the robot assisted in the Laparoscopic surgery. Recovery will take a few weeks. I have to remember to go easy with my activities for awhile. I am very glad to be back. I miss taking part in the forum. :)

I had exactly the same problem after my hernia surgery in 2003. The evening after the surgery I was watching on TV the show of a German comedian. It was so funny that I couldn't stop laughing and the pain got worse every second. I had to switch off the TV to stop laughing which annoyed me but I had no other choice.
