I Have Spring Fever and It's Not Spring Yet

Sometimes it is good to have siesta in between naps.

Bright sun all this week and temps in the 60's and I have the energy of a gnat. Time for a nap.
I've had Springfever this morning,as well!
It's a lovely and sunny day:)I've planted 20 pansies into my balcony-flower-boxes,they're looking very pretty there! I love the look of it!
Now it's time for a little nap!:)

Thank goodness I'm not the only one taking siestas. Love planting season. My son set out 3 dwarf hollies for me and watching him work tired me out.

My introduction says I live in snow country and I do. I, too, am waiting for spring. My mother had the knack of being able to sleep/nap wherever she was. While I rarely fall asleep in public :), I am able to nap and I do. I am a teaching assistant and I usually have a short one when I get home. Good for me!!

I'm as restless as a willow in a windstorm, I'm as jumpy as puppet on a string
I'd say that I had spring fever, but I know it isn't spring
I am starry eyed and vaguely discontented, like a nightingale without a song to sing
O why should I have spring fever, when it isn't even spring

I keep wishing I were someone else, walking down a strange new street
And hearing words that I've never heard from a man I've yet to meet
I'm as busy as spider spinning daydreams,
I'm as giddy as a baby on a swing

I haven't seen a crocus or a rosebud, or a robin on the wing
But I feel so gay in a melancholy way, that it might as well be spring
It might as well be spring.

Spring unofficially started here last week with the Barrett Jackson auction. Next up is the Phoenix Open and then Spring Training. After that it's pretty much summer until mid-October. And I fully endorse nap time !

Great song by Rodgers & Hammerstein from the 1945 musical "State Fair".

Great minds think alike Sunny! Exactly what I was thinking when I saw the title of this thread.

I guess I'm in the minority here but I'm not ready for spring yet. As much as I love my garden and flowers I'm having fun with all my inside winter projects and the older I get the less heat and humidity I can take so I don't mind a couple more winter months.
