I have zero points! You?

Two. Raw fish and Coconut.
Some of the items I've only had once or twice, but counted them as have eaten. Now, if octopus or calamari were on the list, I may try them. What about venison and buffalo, I've also had turtle.

Octopus and Calamari taste very similar, altho' I'm not overkeen on Octopus, but Calamari is one of my favourite foods. Buffalo and Venison are very Gamey.. if you like your meat strong and with little fat ( I don't ) then they're for you.. like Ostrich, and Kangaroo.. both of them have little or no fat

I imagine octopus and calamari are rubbery, I don't know why. Snails were definitely rubbery/chewy, good thing the garlic and the oil made them easy to swallow.

Venison I had was made into chili. It was pretty tasty with all those spices. Buffalo was as a burger, surprised it tasted as good as it did.

I think the calamari turns me off because of its appearance. But, I would try it.

Ostrich, oh, to think of the cuteness I don't know if I would eat it, but would if presented. Kangaroo, probably a no. It took me a long time to eat duck and goose, duck very fatty.

When I was young I had one of those slide projectors with an accompanying record. We would go in the dark hallway and play the record while looking at the slides enlarged on the end of the wall. We were so dramatic and tried to scare each other with the giant squid and octopus slides! If I hadn't seen this thread I might not have remembered that, good times.

I have Duck often..I really like it. I usually have it at Christmas, and also when I go to e top end Chinese restaurant, I'll have it then...

Goose is very fatty.. too fatty.

Calamari and Octopus are only rubbery if cooked too long. They need to be cooked for a very short time, this is the mistake most people make..

I sometimes cook Calamari at home, but more often have it at a beach side restaurants.. and only rarely have Octopus if it's a part of Tapas in Spain.. I wouldn't buy one to cook myself..

Kangaroo steaks we get here easily, the same with Octopus... again.. not my favourite because they're very lean.. and strong tasting with little to no fat

I've also had ostrich eggs.. huge but no different in taste to hens eggs..

My favourite eggs are Duck eggs.. I buy those from the local farms but they're available in supermarkets too

This reminds me of Laverbread, the Welsh dish. I tried it a couple of times, but found it too bitter.

I did make Cornish Hens once, the size made me feel sorry for them so I never bought them again. Silly, I know.

Talking about these "exotic" foods makes me think of the series, "Upstairs Downstairs" and "Downton Abbey" with the unusual to me foodstuffs the chefs/cooks would prepare.

The tv had a program on last year about Victoria and Albert's wedding. There were some unusual courses for their wedding dinner, for sure.

I like a ribeye steak, not lean at all.
