Yes, if you have shampoo in the shower. It is also soap.
Yes, even if you don't.

Our shower has a 3 foot long marble shelf that holds ( I just counted them ) 17 bottles of shampoo, conditioner, body wash and other assorted items. JimB.

I keep my soap/shampoo (actually it's Ivory dish soap) in the shower.

But sometimes I forget to take a washcloth, and sometimes I forget to turn on the fan. I never forgot either until about a month ago. Hmm.

My soap is always in the shower.. and if for any reason it's run out and I;d forgotten to replace it I can just reach to the vanity drawer and get more ...

My shower has two separate thingies for soap and shampoo. I always place a new bar in one.

Little shelf unit right out the shower door. Keep all the bath supplies, towels and washcloths there. I just stick hand out and grab whatever I need.

I recently tried a Korean Shampoo Bar made with rice water on my hair. I find I’m liking it more and more.
The point of a shampoo bar is to avoid plastic bottle waste . I was afraid it would either not lather up or would just quickly dissolve into a gooey puddle. I’ve found that not to be true.
Doesn’t take up a lot of room in the shower.
