I "Killed" Netflix (Just Kidding)

I mute the sound whenever I browse Netflix--too noisy
I agree. Thank god for that mute button. I don't watch Netflix but I know what you are talking about. They have that noisy little preview shouting at you while you are trying to read what the darn show is about. Thank god for Amazon; my source of Gunsmoke, Rawhide and Cheyenne. They never shout at me!

Tish I didn't think I'd be interested in the brother's story at all this season. After Rege'Jean left people were not happy. But during the first episode of S2, I got hooked (again). It was very good. Since you like Bridgerton so much you might be interested in a movie that's coming out which is also a romantic period piece. I read an article and saw a trailer for it the other day, now can't think of the name of the movie. Also couldn't find it in my histories; I'm sure it will be promoted again the closer to release time. It's Mr. (something or other).:rolleyes: I'm interested in seeing it but it will be in theaters before streaming.
Oh please let me know when you find out.
I am also missing Rege'Jean he is a most wonderful actor and great eye candy;)

I will definitely let you know. Sometimes my news apps repeat a story they posted prior. Rege' Jean....so gorgeous. He's in my "Fluff (eg: posts about good looking, eye candy) thread. Bridgerton is the first thing I ever saw him in. He was regal indeed.

Thanks for all the great replies to this thread, much appreciated.

Now I'm interested in when/if Netflix does go down or downsizes to almost no content, I wonder how it will happen? Will it be that one evening when I go to pull it up on the TV, will there be a blank screen? Or one saying "Out of Business"? Or??? (My credit card got charged yesterday for the next month.)

You're welcome of course my friend. Somehow I don't think it will come to your worse case scenario. This article seems to support my belief that Netflix will (probably) raise it's price for no ads a bit and perhaps offer a lower price than the current basic subscription cost for programming with ads or at least a comparable price to their competitors. I really doubt Netflix is going anywhere.

I hope you're right; I rely on Netflix a lot, lol.
