she's a similar age to a lot of us here...She turned 60 last week.
is that your baby..or the family Baby ?...The family baby is 62, that means I am old, not getting, just old!
We haven't got any children so you might think that wouldn't happen. Yeah right! When my wife's sister passed away a few months ago we met up with a couple of nieces at the funeral that we hadn't seen for many a year. One was 61 and the other 59, talk about freak me out. it also brought back a reminisce when my father said much the same when I turned 60.She turned 60 last week.
you must be around the same age as my parents would have beenWe must have been out of control back in the late 50's-early 60's. Our 4 kids, all married with a flock of grands and great grands are now 66, 65, 63, and 62.
We still get to see them all on a fairly regular basis and they inter-act amongst themselves. Families can be a "mixed bag", some good some not so good but we've been one of the lucky ones and will be forever thankful for our good fortune.
Our son is 62, his 2 sisters are older, that makes him the baby of the family.is that your baby..or the family Baby ?...
My little sister who is the family Baby will be 61 this Christmas...she was only 10 years old when my mother died and she has zero recollection of her
so your children are around my age ?Our son is 62, his 2 sisters are older, that makes him the baby of the family.
This really cracked me upI know I am getting old when my daughter is struggling with her grey hair.
Yes but I gotta tell ya, our 62 year old son started going gray at 17. He is completely gray now . My baby is grayer than I am, and grayer than his dad too! This really cracked me up![]()
Oh I've done all this several times... even put the phone handset in the fridge at one time..jeez... lol... and I'm only 27....Old? I tried to make a phone call using the tv remote. Realized there weren't any numbers on it. Picked up phone and was going to use it to change tv channels because I forgot that the intention was to make a phone call to begin with
In simpler times we didn't have "devices." Actually in simpler times we didn't have remotes for the tv. We got up and walked to the tv to change the channel. Even simpler than that? We didn't have tv.

After my last old Aunt passed away, earlier this year at the age of 96, I now have the "distinction" of being the oldest member of the entire family....cousins, etc.
Isn't it a shame that we only meet up with family at funerals.?We haven't got any children so you might think that wouldn't happen. Yeah right! Me too, Don. At one point I was the youngest of the cousins and siblings. Now they are all gone. After my last old Aunt passed away, earlier this year at the age of 96, I now have the "distinction" of being the oldest member of the entire family....cousins, etc.
My cousin always contacted me when a family member died. Then he died and no one told me for a couple of months. They’re used to be oodles of cousins. Now there are only six left and everyone is over 70. Those numbers just shocked me.Isn't it a shame that we only meet up with family at funerals.?
