I like that name also....wasn’t that popular when my daughter was born so I went with Alexandra for her middle name.

Her paternal grandfather was Alex, so it worked. :)

I like Isabella also and if my daughter would have had a girl that’s what she wanted to name her but she had a boy...Nicholas.
 
Denise, Chloe, Chelsea and Amber (our daughter's name).

Never liked my name, Lily (Lillian), but have an appreciation for the choice, knowing for whom I was named after - an English woman who was the sister of
my father's war-time buddy (who my brother was named after).

I think our daughters are around the same age....

.but when I was in school, my best friend's older sister was called Alexis and she was the epitome of chic, and style , and I always liked the name from then..:)
 
Actually, I don't like my name, never have. She once told me that she was going to name me Robin, but changed her mind when I was born. I like Robin, and Jillian

Like I said earlier I've hated my name since I was a tot..I remember when strangers asking me my name, I'd invent a name and I couldn't have been more than 4 or 5 years old when I first started doing that...

My name is not a terrible name..it's just that no-one in I knew was called it..not one girl when i was growing up...yet everyone knows the name , it's not an unusual name but in fact it's not as common as everyone thinks.. .. and I just hated it..still do...

However it could have been worse.. my father told me they had thought of calling me Alichion ( pronounced Aleesheeyon ) *Yikes* .

My mom was going to name me Patricia and then my aunt had my cousin first and stole the name. :cool: I'm happy with Linda though. I had a friend who always called me Karen because she said I looked like a Karen. That was OK with me so I just let it go. Other names I wouldn't mind being named are Mickey and just today I was thinking I like the name Penny. I also like Ariel. My favorite name of all time is GRANDMA!

My middle name is Patricia, no offense to anyone with that name but I never liked it.

I do like Mickey and that’s what I’ve always called my son although his name is Michael and only family calls him Mickey.
