I Love Autumn

Golden sunshine and cool evenings...sweaters, jeans, jackets...the colours of the leaves...NFL begins...Baseball Playoffs...Thanksgiving, Halloween...etc.

I know The Fall is a prelude to Winter, but while it lasts in it's fleeting glory I find it all to be inspiring!

Anybody concur?

I love autumn, but I'm growing to love all seasons. I think it's something to do with where I live. Surrounded by farmland, I can see the seasons come and go.

Autumn is my favorite season. I love the end of the summer heat and humidity, the crisp, delicious air, the gorgeous foliage, and the official beginning of everything (school year, theatre season, elections for hopefully better politicians, etc.) And best of all, my birthday is in October.

Fall is my favorite season, also....mild temperatures, and the trees turning color. Summer is really trying to hang on here....we set a new daytime high yesterday, and should do the same today....with the temps in the high 90's.
