R.I.P. With Us In Spirit Only
You are my main company since my baby (wife) passed. I think of you as as blood and flesh friends...Thanks for being here and sharing...

I'm sort of new here but I think of all of you as friends. Jim, I am so sorry about your wife's passing but am happy that you know that you are cared about here.

You mean you're not my Big brother?... who knew? ;)

Seriously, if we're helping on this forum by just being here , I'm pleased Jim.... it must be very hard still 3 months on..how are you coping?...do you have family near you?

No. No family within 800 miles. I am doing the best I can. I am eating and my meals are ok (choke). I spend most of my day here and sitting in my patio (soon it will be too hot). Seriously my love of this site and you guys keep me going.

No family within 800 miles.

Ain't it funny how we can connect with people that are probably more than 800 miles away......

Could be because they take the time to connect...

I'm on your side Jim....

I think about you a lot AZ Jim, if my husband cared about me half as much as you cared about your wife I’d been a much happier person. Your wife sounds like she was a wonderful woman and I am sorry for your loss. We all wish we could do more for you. Have you tried the local senior center for company? A hot meal and company might help you.

The centers in our areas have buses which will pick you up and take you home. Paying the 3 dollars for lunch is a donation, so you don’t have to pay if you don’t have the money. You always have to pay for meals on wheels although it’s the same food.

I read on your profile that you have had cats before. While I don’t do cats, I understand they are great company and pretty much take care of themselves. We have an orange feral cat in the neighborhood who catches a mouse a day except when his mate has kittens. Then is a a mouser machine. Why can’t you have a cat? Don’t mean to pry but I think it would be company for you.

My puppy Grace is at board and train for a month learning, I hope, not to rip my arm off when I walk her. She is a strong girl. I miss her even though my husband’s stupid dog is here. He is very bonded to my husband and barely acknowledges my presence. Stupid poodle. Hang in there Jim. We are all here for you.

Like Sassy said, I enjoy being here with you too. I hope this forum is still around if I find myself suddenly alone like you Jim, I don't have much family left and none of them are near me. The folks here are so caring, and the warmth shines through each and every day. Always thinking of you and wishing you well.

One of your favorite bands. :sentimental:

Many of the things you post are so in line with my own thoughts & ideas - that makes me feel by connected, one state over here in crazy NM. Do try to get out & circulate a bit. I think your Lady would want you to.

Hi, Jim. I'm in CA & the weather here really spoils me. Every time I complain about taxes, fees, prices of homes, etc. I remind myself about the weather here.
An ex girlfriend moved to AZ 6 years ago & married someone who lives there. She phones me a few times/year & complains about the hot temperature & the "Dust Storms."

Then she complains about her husband......

I'm here for you Bro.
