I passed out in the kitchen this morning

I lost consciousness and fell in the kitchen. Misa woke me up. I couldn't get off the floor for a while, and then could only sit. My blood pressure was very low. I slept about 4 hours last night fitfully dealing with a lot of pain. My pain medication caused the loss of consciousness. I hadn't taken any in about 4 days because I caught a cold and it made me feel horrible. The pain meds have a side effect that is a little annoying.

That's scary, sorry to hear that. I would definitely see your doctor about a possible change in medications. Good luck and take care.

I take about 100mg's of THC. I am avoiding any prescription drugs. The ENT couldn't find a cause for my pain. He has no idea what is causing it. I have learned that those who develop ( peripheral ) neuropathy will never no the cause. It is about 80% of the cases. Some are not very severe but others are debilitating.

Oh no! You must see the doc. I hope you didn't get hurt when you fell. Any bruising? Please take good care.

Yes I am monitoring BP. Another cause for concern is that I am losing the use of my arms. A very bad pain has developed in my triceps. The other great news is that the earliest I can see a "new" doctor is Feb. 8th. 4 weeks away.
If I remember correctly, you are located fairly near the hospitals in Jeff City, or Columbia. If you are experiencing these symptoms, you might consider going to the ER ASAP. Waiting for an appt. with a GP might put you in a bad situation.

I agree with Don M.

I can hear my children saying....
"Are you drinking enough water?"...as they are always saying to me.

I can hear myself say " Are you taking your Vitamin B complex? and eating a little kale, broccoli, asparagus? for which I will be severely punished for saying the "Kale" word in SF...20 push-ups! :giggle: Yes, check with your doctor of course...and take care šŸ¤—...seriously

"a lot of pain" can lower your blood pressure. Pain meds have lots of negative side effects. But beware of backlash from the medical community (not all) if you ask what the side effects are.

I had a short bout of nighttime leg cramps and my doctor prescribed muscle relaxer pills. I asked him, "what are the negative side effects?" Words cannot express how irate that made him. Seriously, he went on a tirade like I've never seen and then, I drove to the drugstore several times over 2 days to get the prescription then found out he never sent it. Just as well, I fixed the problem myself....yes, with a eating a little kale every day lol
