I posted a current event that was ruled political

My recent post was news headlines but it was ruled political and was removed? Is there a way I can post the event without removal?
Mr Ed is having a difficult time with all areas of life...as his tagline in his avatar indicates and his sensitive posts reveal. It seems to me, in his first question, he asks politely for an explanation for something he "doesn't fully understand". Even if he does in fact understand fully, a real possibility, it doesn't hurt to post an answer for the sake of clarity for newcomers reading this.

My answer to him would be, "the way to post an event without removal is to first be sure it won't ignite any further discussions that are in any way shape or form politically charged or create division among our members".

I worry that some of the responses and reaction scores here may hurt Mr. Ed much more than the typical member.

I learned early on from a past TOS violation with just a reminder of the TOS policy and it was handled very well so now if I start a thread or post to an existing thread that may appear as a TOS violation or disrespectful to the site or our members I used to PM it to Seabreeze and now Matrix. Saves a lot of time, confusion, resentment, embarrassment, discord and grief.

Yup

It was quite political
...and would've fostered many a political comment

Is there a way I can post the event without removal?
Yes

On another site that craves posting political agendas

There's many with which to choose

That's all true. However, post #2 was a screenshot of that specific poster's (post #2) computer, not necessarily the OP's.
If it troubles you, report it.
I just found it highly ironic that when someone posted a news article that was deemed political and removed, the page loaded here with a political survey pop-up on top! (Which, if I may add, had nothing to do with me!)

As of late some forums will terminate a free members account using adblocker after an initial warning. A fair number of forums will eliminate all adverts for a paid membership upgrade. I no longer maintain paid subscriptions for Youtube as I can get them ad free on Dailymotion and can now reverse Dailymotion videos.

Where is the forum for Politics??? I'm trying to find out something about the new Forward Party formed in the U.S. It is much in the news but probably won't be allowed on this forum. When I try to Google it, a message comes up saying no secure connection. I don't know if Google is owned by one of the two major Parties or whether Forward needs a new web page designer???
