I put my antique butter churn on Marketplace

And I did get one nibble. Of course, he wanted it for half the price posted. I replied that I'd accept an amount halfway between. He responded, "That wasn't what I offered." I was willing to negotiate, but apparently he's not.
Reminds me of the farmer who decided to sell 10 acres of his land. He considered all the area for prices and finally settled in an amount.

The day after listing it, he got a call.

"I'm interested" the caller said. "Are you flexible with the price?"

The farmer replied "Ayup, I can go higher"

Did it sell to someone locally?

Didn't you have some crocks in one of your yard sales?
I was planning on getting some we have out.
Clean them up & take to corner store where you can set up your display of items.

After husband read they guidelines & price charged for using their space.
Said forget it.

Shucks,, had thought to put my antique sette & rocker down there.
