Way over my headOh my, cursing robots.
I am not sure about this String Theory thing.
.
String Theory: A Brief Overview
.
Well, string theory isn’t complicated — it’s just one giant invisible guitar (The Great Cosmic Fender Stratocaster), eternally rifted by the Almighty Rock God. Every supernova is just feedback, and with every chord a new universe drops. We're all just taking in the performance.
Nah....not hard to understand...it is just a theory...I do not put much stock in it.Way over my head![]()
Do not worry yourself about @VaughanJB No one truely understands it.I have actually spent a bit of time trying to understand string theory (along with Quantum Mechanics).
Nothing is going in. It sails over my head like a language from another planet. I mean, entanglement sounds cool. But then I think about it, and I always end up with far more questions than answers.

I don't think it is correct anyway...Just a theory...a guess.
It is not a scientifically proven fact. Since no one can prove it.
I get what you are saying @VaughanJBI don't mind if it's a theory, there are things we can't test and that make sense.
But I'm tempted to say this is totally over my pay grade, but that feels like giving up. People with these theories - which aren't plucked out of thin air - are simply smarter than I am.![]()
Ha ha ..... well, that depends on how large the universe is.We’re gonna need more string.![]()
My universe is very tiny...so I will not need much string.Ha ha ..... well, that depends on how large the universe is.
I know several people who seem to have way more emplty space than most.Well, as long as we're discussing the physics that don't make sense, try this on.
About 99.9% of an atoms mass is in the nucleus. The rest is mostly empty space, except for atomic forces.
Since humans are made of 100% atoms, then we are mostly "empty" space, however the reason we weigh so much is because one teaspoon of pure nuclear material (The atom's nucleus) would weigh 10 billion tons because of it's immense denseness.
So in a 200 lb human, the actual solid nuclear material would be about the size of a microscopic dot (Like one blood cell). All of a person's weight comes from that microscopic dot. Let that really soak in and it blows your mind.
I watched a video years ago. For the first few minutes, it was fun, and I was following along getting smarter. And then some things were described that didn't make any sense. I thought it was just me. But the video paused and the Narrator announced that at this point even the theoretical physicists get lost. I think I watched a couple more minutes and then gave up. I don't think I got one fourth of the way through the video.I have actually spent a bit of time trying to understand string theory (along with Quantum Mechanics).
