I understand String Theory now...

I have actually spent a bit of time trying to understand string theory (along with Quantum Mechanics).

Nothing is going in. It sails over my head like a language from another planet. I mean, entanglement sounds cool. But then I think about it, and I always end up with far more questions than answers.

Do not worry yourself about @VaughanJB No one truely understands it.
I don't think it is correct anyway...Just a theory...a guess.

It is not a scientifically proven fact. Since no one can prove it.

I don't mind if it's a theory, there are things we can't test and that make sense.

But I'm tempted to say this is totally over my pay grade, but that feels like giving up. People with these theories - which aren't plucked out of thin air - are simply smarter than I am. :D

I get what you are saying @VaughanJB
That one just sounds a little too far reaching to me.
We will see. Scientist are always trying to one up each other...Someone will work it out or someone will come up with something totally new.

This is a discussion about string theory.
Like everything else I know about string theory, it still leaves me scratching my head.

I like string theory too.

It can be true because God spoke everything into existence.

Creative Soundwaves: In a metaphorical sense, theologians sometimes draw a parallel to string theory, suggesting that the "Word" God spoke was an initial resonant vibration that gave shape to all mass and energy.

Eastern and Western Parallels: In Eastern traditions, the sound "Aum" (Om) is considered the primordial vibration from which the cosmos emerged—a concept many modern thinkers liken to quantum vibrations.

Well, as long as we're discussing the physics that don't make sense, try this on.
About 99.9% of an atoms mass is in the nucleus. The rest is mostly empty space, except for atomic forces.
Since humans are made of 100% atoms, then we are mostly "empty" space, however the reason we weigh so much is because one teaspoon of pure nuclear material (The atom's nucleus) would weigh 10 billion tons because of it's immense denseness.

So in a 200 lb human, the actual solid nuclear material would be about the size of a microscopic dot (Like one blood cell). All of a person's weight comes from that microscopic dot. Let that really soak in and it blows your mind.

I know several people who seem to have way more emplty space than most.

Thank you for that @bobcat , very interesting.

I watched a video years ago. For the first few minutes, it was fun, and I was following along getting smarter. And then some things were described that didn't make any sense. I thought it was just me. But the video paused and the Narrator announced that at this point even the theoretical physicists get lost. I think I watched a couple more minutes and then gave up. I don't think I got one fourth of the way through the video.
