I was too busy at work yesterday to make an appearance here.

Left home for work at 5.10am, worked for 11 hours and got home at 5.45pm.
Two workers were off sick and one never turned up.
We were down to a crew of three.
Not sure what will happen today. I am sure I will not be working for 11 hours today.
Using a forklift outside with thunderstorms with plenty of lightning and rain.
30mm of rain with some really heavy downpours.
Same forecast today but without so much rain.
5.10am, off to work.

Is it dangerous to work outside in a forklift during thunderstorms?

A twelve hour day aged 76 is also my lot. But there again, I'm in the financial position not to do it, if ever I don't want to. Work fills my day like no other. Some call me sad, that's ok, my wife indulges me and she is the one, on whom my absence impacts, so if she's ok with me working long hours into my old age, others can take a long walk of a short pier.
