I once knew a gal that wished she was as thin as her patience and wished cake went straight to her boobs.
But of all the wishes listed in this thread, mine will be the wishiest ... I wish we had world peace.
well I'll accept that we pretty much have peace currently (Russia-Ukraine accepted).... if I could really have one wish granted it would be that no-one dies in Pain...

Live in the same home where I was born, back in 1933. It was built in 1921 and most of the years has housed two families, being handed from generation to generation. Never carried a mortgage since it's original building funds.

Back in 1995 while our daughter, husband, and two new grandbabies shared it with my wife and I we GAVE them the house while retaining a life lease for ourselves. As we had given them the home, they took over the utilities, heat, taxes and such and we've been free to travel for long periods without concern for it's safety and upkeep.

The added benefit has been the closeness with them, Now-a-days, they (both the kids and grands) take care of getting us to doctors visits and other necessary thigs that are becoming difficult if not impossible to do by ourselves.
Our grandson recently had his auto A/C go on the fritz, so he's been using our car to commute, while I use his "heatbox" to run a local errand or two.
Help can be a two way street.

To sum it up, at least in our case, "There's no place like home!"

So you don't have a thing to wish for then? You're lucky.

I wish there were a medication I could take that'd make me like where I live.

What's your wish?
I feel so bad for you my friend, that in all these years, you haven't gotten your wish! I pray that one day you will; you certainly deserve to. 🤗 @hollydolly ...wish the same for you.

I wish I could have an automatic washing machine in my apartment. I used to have the cutest apartment sized one but sold it to a co-worker because we are not allowed to have them here and they used to inspect once a year.

I wish the weather would be nice for at least three days in a row so I could go to our timeshare. We've been getting lots of thunderstorms with heavy rain; forecast for almost every day this week.

I wish I had some ice cream in the house right now (although my son shared a little of his cookies and cream ice cream with me today)...operative words "a little". He didn't have that much to begin with.

@Naturally You wish is the wishiest❣️ I wish we had world peace too.

I wish that you lived somewhere you like too..🤗... and I also wish I could find a new place for me to live that I'll love and leave all the bad memories of my marriage behind..
My mother died young, unable to introduce my girlfriend to mother, I took her, after meeting my father and siblings, to meet both grandparents. Maternal grandparents lived near Ringwood, Hampshire. On the way back to London the lady told me that she and her family spent many a happy weekend in the New Forest in their caravan.

Twenty years after we were married we bought a beautiful house on the Hampshire/Dorset border, on the perimeter of The New Forest. My wife even managed to transfer from The London Ambulance Service to Ringwood. We love where we live, so Holly, my wish is that you and Officeripley have your wishes come true.
