Idiot Father Enters Elephant's Area With Daughter

Nothing will happen to the elephant according to the news. Recall a few years ago when a young boy fell in to a gorilla area and tragically the great silver back that was holding the boy was killed.
 
Similar idiocies have occurred with other species in zoos or natural protected areas. People have overcome bars and barriers to try and pet the great cats in zoos, with predictable results. Children have fallen into wild animal enclosures when parents stupidly try to balance them on protective railings. Wild horse bites and kicks are also regularly suffered by people who ignore warning signs to approach them.
 
I have ridden Elephants before. They are passive and friendly, but their great weight can kill with no intention to defend itself or do harm to others.

Their hair is like a fine bristle brush. I love Elephants.
 
I remember that WIN, stupid. After, he was outraged that people thought he was in fact stupid. If I remember right he said, "I was in complete control". Not of his senses though!!
 
He should be sent to gaol for risking the life of his child. Same sort of idiots all over the place. I witnessed a tourist baiting an elephant in Kruger National Park, South Africa. The elephant charged his car and were it not for the rangers all the occupants would have been killed.

Same thing in Australia, huge signs reading "Do not swim in these waters, beware of crocodiles" so, you've guessed it, some idiot tourist does, gets mauled or killed and blames the croc.

I agree. These are wild animals. If they are on their native land, they were there for so many years and if they are at a zoo or other facility, they never asked for that life.

Things like this even make me think of my cats. When I got them off a Craig's List add, they had no control over who took them. They are very loved and cared for but it could have been someone else.
 
Most people are on the wrong side of the bars. I think zoos are terrible places - to keep wild animals penned up. I wouldn't patronize any zoo. You learn more watching nature documentaries and seeing animals in their natural surroundings.
