the Woke society will no doubt make a statement saying that it's their right to disrupt the traffic, and create a dangerous situation on the Bridge..
Whilst I would never condone dangerous antics, it is a mark of the stupidity of youth. Back in the early 1960's the new Coventry Cathedral had just been consecrated. The Queen, being the head of The Church of England, led the service. The correct title of Coventry Cathedral is: "The Cathedral Church of Saint Michael." Saint Michael being the Arch Angel that conquered Lucifer. On the cathedral outer wall there's a statue that depicts St. Michael conquering Lucifer.

On the opposite side of the street is the students union hall of Coventry's University. Back in 1964, this eighteen-year-old travelled up from London to see The Rolling Stones who were playing at Coventry's student union hall.
Look at the height of Lucifer from the ground. Lucifer is a big lad, by that I mean, ahem, well endowed. It took about a dozen, drunken students, standing four high on each other's shoulders, giggling and laughing as one of our number finally stretched a condom over the appendage, before we all fell in a heap. No bones broken.
Back in London the next day, someone had managed to get a copy of Coventry's local newspaper. The headline read: "Well it Certainly Makes a Change From Godiva." I didn't understand it at first but later learned that Coventry's famous lady, the one who rode naked, clothed in her own chastity, at the repressive taxes imposed by her husband, The Earl Leofric, is depicted by statue in the centre of the city. Apparently it was a right of passage for students to climb the statue and place a bra on the bare breasted lady.
Ah, the stupidity of youth, I can't even climb the stairs these days.
