If Reincarnation Was Real, What You Like and Dislike May Lead To Who You Were

This could be fun, but it will take some creative thought.
Since I am incredibly afraid of heights, have an absolute disgust for Nazi's, am addicted to fast cars, and have no desire to live like a billionaire.
I must have died in an aircraft accident, been in a concentration camp, worked as a criminal getaway driver, and may have been a butler or owned by slaves.

"If reincarnation is real", then I think we would all come back as the opposite of what we are now because of the Yin and Yang, good and evil, life and death, sweet and sour, war and peace, hot and cold, balance thing going on in the world.

For instance, since I'm a white girly female who likes pretty vintage convertible sports cars and classical music but dislikes rap music because I dislike attitude...
I would come back as a macho rapping Batman with a chip on his shoulder driving a beat-up bat-mobile.

In that case, I must have been a sexy, attractive female who was popular with the opposite sex, was happily married, had a big family, a few kids, scads of friends, made a ton of money and lived in a big house in an upscale neighborhood.

I could go on, but it's depressing me....

Although that's a thought, the concept of Yin/Yang is often mistaken as being "opposites", whereas it is actually more accurately seen as "complementaries". Yes, there is balance, but it is not a balance of opposition but of mutual cooperation.

LOL! Macho rapping Batman!

Well, my name is Batman
And you're totally right
But most people simply call me
That &%*$% Dark Knight

And it's true that I am driving
A beat-up old Plymouth Scamp
And the engine's kinda' funky
And the vinyl seats are damp

And my costume comes from K-Mart
And my weapons are a joke
And I like to use my Bat Pipe
For a quick little Bat Toke

I'm the Macho Rapping Batman
All my rhymes I am a-lobbin'
All that's left for me to do
Is find myself a brand-new Robin

:D:cool::D

Sifu Phil, that Rap is brilliantly funny! I take it you made it up, otherwise it would be one helluva coincidence. I checked out your blog LOL (now here's a coincidence, I owned a white convertible Triumph at age 23 just like your blue one. It had a bumper sticker on it "Think Snow" which attracted the attention of my husband-to-be, a skier.)

...and Victor...you made me laugh :D

Thanks!!! Making other people laugh is as much fun as being made to laugh!!!

And btw, I owned a sweet Triumph TR6 myself back in my early 20's too!!!

There are obviously some kindred spirits hanging around here.

Ah, TR6s ... I had 3 of them over the years, all variations of blue. Great little cars, but the Lucas electrical systems were terrible. You'd think a country that has so much rain could come up with something better ... I spent a lot of time rewiring and waterproofing.

Maybe we used to be British Leylands in a former life. :D

Well, after reading the posts by Victor and Lara, it looks as though the vehicle you all should be driving after your reincarnation should be a Triumph and it should be called a (sorry, a little fun and poke at you, hope you don't mind) a "Brat-mobile" instead of a "bat-mobile".

Of course, I don't think that could ever happen to such nice people.

Hey, Philly -- what's your current costume??

Costume?

Well, it's Tuesday, so I'm dressed up as Marilyn Monroe, but somehow I don't think that's what you meant ...

You always had avatars with you dressed up in some funny costume!

Marilyn Monroe, huh? That white dress that blew up over the vents in the street, or the one she sang Happy Birthday to JFK in? I'm sure you are stunning in either one!

Yes, I'm flying the CanAm flag for now, but I think we can look forward to more strange images in the near future ... ;)

Oh, definitely the Happy Birthday outfit.
