If you are/were wrong, what would you do about it?

I would admit to it and do what it would take to make up for it.

In most real-life situations, own it, admit it, try to rectify it if possible. A card or small gift is a good idea as well depending on the other person involved.

It's the same theory about lying. If you tell a lie, you have to keep telling more lies to back the first one up. If you make a mistake, it's better to settle it as soon as possible, so as not to let it keep snowballing into something bigger.

I've made so many mistakes, I stopped keeping track.

As far as wronging someone, for the longest time I'd just let it go.

Not all that many months ago I tracked down some folks I'd wronged a very long time ago.
We shared many things, admitted many things, got emotional.
Rather draining
But quite cleansing

I would absolutely own up to my mistake and apologize. I have been wrong on this forum and have apologized publicly or in a PM to other members. They can back me up.
