Absolutely. I'd love to hire someone to clean the house, a chore I'm getting less 'fond' of as I age.If You Could Easily Afford Servants Would You Hire Any?
Thatās why I still have a husbandI wouldn't like people cleaning my home on a regular basis. Maybe someone to wash my rugs and do the windows and hang my curtains.
I would rather have a handyman who would do the yard work so I could enjoy my garden more.
Touch up painting here and there. Filling the holes in the walls because I can't make up my mind where the picture should go.
Moving furniture around to see where it looks good. I can keep someone busy doing that for hours.
Repainting rooms which is a passion of mine.
We bought this property from a football (soccer) player. It is rather, some might say, tacky. At the time though, the property market had crashed, we offered £100K less than the asking price, he accepted. We have lots of windows, not including the ones on our computer.30 windows? Does your house have walls?![]()
Yup, my husband does the ādeafā thing, drives me crazy; and he can hide, but heās too fat to run@Aneeda72 my hubby is a master at hiding when I get in my moving mode. I think he actually picks out clothes that will make him blend in with the recliner. He also can become quite deaf when I call him but he regains his hearing when I tell him its time for dinner. Amazing!
I prepare the meals and don't mind, but I'm not into anything complicated. I always thought I'd like to hire someone to do some Asian cooking, maybe learn from them as well.I don't need any help with the house keeping but I'd definitely hire a cook if I could.
I'd love to have a cleanig service, too. I think I may look into it after the pandemic settles down a bit. My arthritis makes a lot of things very difficult or even impossible for me to do.I would have a cleaning service probably once a month to really deep clean. Thats all I would have.
I know what you mean! I have several things that I need to do, but my arthritis makes it impossible for me. For instance, I'd like to clean out my bottom cabinets in the kitchen and get rid of stuff I don't use anymore, but I can't get down there to do that anymore.I would like an all-purpose helper for a few hours every now and then to assist/motivate me to do some cleaning, errands, and a few little projects.
