Yes, l see it as "Significant Other". Most people understand what that means. It's good.My Dad said "You don't have to marry her." Before I married my second wife. It shocked me a bit. He was pretty conservative, yet he had a feel that she wasn't "right" for me. It only lasted 2 years. Then when I quit looking for a partner and was enjoying my freedom round 36, I met Misa.
We didn't marry, but we both are very glad we stuck with each other even when we were going through rough times. What do you call a person like her. Significant other?
I feel the same way. I'd always be comparing.Would never want anyone NEW in my life now.
What I had before was just fine, and it can’t be duplicated.
My last roomie was a retired female therapist. Stroke Victim. I had to leave to care for Mom. She could be a handful but she needed someone to look after her. Lost her & our apartment while on the West CoastI think none.
If you were tired of living alone, which would you prefer, a husband/wife, or a roommate?
I actually like living alone. NO female roomies for me, but a Maine Coon would be great.
Plenty of Coons out there looking for a home.Maine Coons are wonderful but don't overlook all the sweet needy kitties out there.
