If you're in your 70's, Can you name these songs from late 50's/early 60's?

Gaer

"Angel whisperer"
This is only for the people in your 70's!

I'm listing the lyrics from some of my favorite songs from the late 50's/ early 60's. The first person to answer the title of the song, WINS!
disclosure: (You really don't win anything but you get to throw your fists in the air and yell, "I WON! I WON!" while your wife shakes her head and rolls her eyes!)
If you can name the recording artist or group that took this song to the "Hit Parade" (remember that?) charts, during that time, you get to grab her and dance around the living room with her, yelling, "I'm the greatest person in the world!" until she busts up laughing!

Ready?

1. "Oh, baby, That's the way to go. Ya ya ya ya ya That's the way to go now!"

2. "It took me by surprise. I knew that you felt it too, by the look in your eyes."

3. "I thought that I was over you, but it's true, oh so true"

4. "And everytime we have to be apart, I hardly ever find you in my heart."

5. "Shall I stay, Would it be a sin?"

6. "Tonight, while our hearts are aglow, please tell me the words that I'm longing to know."

7. "Where the river is windin', big nuggects they're findin'."

8. "Standin' on the corner, 12th street and vine"

9. "You'll know her if you see her, blue eyes and a pony tail."

10. "Each place we go, so afraid, that he might show."

11. "If someone else's arms can hold you, better than my arms can hold you"

12. "I've got three little children and a baby and three wives."

13. "Time can do so much. Are you still mine?"

14. "You better not gamble boys. You better not fight."

15. "Fired our guns and the British kept a'comin'"

I don’t know any but, according to the recent poll, nearly half of us are between 60 and 69 so you may not get too many replies Gaer ;)

"I'm not big on just the lyrics. I have to hear the song. But, I'm amazed at all the 60s songs in TV ads. Let's face, if you were around when the 60s songs were hits, you are NOT in the right demographics for most advertisers. I'm amazed that ad makers know songs from the 60s, when their even thier parents weren't born. ( Damn, that makes me feel older than God).
