I'm 90 and my wife is 86

I am going on 68 and my husband died many, many years ago. He was 57 when he passed and I was much much younger. What can I say, I've always liked older men.
My sweet doggie was my very best friend ever, very loving, gentle, sweet and compassionate. She passed away in March at 15 years old at least, she was a rescue so I don't knw her exact age but doctors estimated her age. She is greatly missed. Everyone liked her, she loved people, and she was the best being I've ever had in my life. I'm grateful that I met her and had a great life with her. She was always happy and wagging her tail. I hope to see her in Heaven! đź’ś

Mitch, Why is it that most of your posts start with your age ? Announcing that you're 90. Are you bragging that you've made it this far ? {Congrats} or are you living in fear of what that number means ? You really do seem obsessed with it, and most of the ones i have read leave no real [opening] for a reasonable reply.

jus sayin'

What ages are your wife and you? I'm 90 and my wife is 86. I curious about the ages of other Seniors here.
You make me feel like a kid. My ex is 55 and I am 70. I just drove her and our two kids to Memphis to see Graceland. My first wife is my age......I hope you and the wife are doing well, Mitch. I am impressed. How long have yall been married?

Age is about more than a number. It reveals a timeframe that lets others know what life events may have shaped you. My parents were married in 1927, had 4 children in the next ten years and all were considered depression babies. There was also WWII. Some of us tend to hang on to possessions because of the lean years.
