I'm done with companies that focus on sales rather than service

I did finally hear back from Pella Windows. Even though I provided a complete description of the window from THEIR installation contract, they told me to go to their website and locate my local Pella distributor so they could come out to the house and replace the screen. I can't even order it online. I'm taking the screen to Lowe's to see if they can order a replacement for me. :(

The problem is that a smooth talking salesperson can convince you that they’ll give great service afterwards. Other than actually knowing someone who has dealt with that company, you‘ll have to take your chances.

I don’t even believe the online rating systems like Google. A bot could load it up with rave reviews or a dolt with a chip on their shoulder can do negative reporting. Had to laugh about one person slamming a business. She had about 150 replies telling her that she was the a**hole. Not one person supported her. That’s rare.

Yes, it's like when you ask customer service questions and they give you half answers and go right back to the sales pitch. I usually just bail.
